Ahahaha...speaking of witch. I've got similar, wat i might say an 'unwanted incident' last 2 days night. On my way to Bangsar wif some friends to dinner, my rear left tyres had went flat-out/puncture. So me and my friends had to workin' it all out to change wif spare tyres ecetra2 (kesian my friends, all sweatin' helping me change the tyre and stuff). To cut it short, yesterday morning i went to my nearest tyres workshop.

At the tyres workshop, the staff there said BOTH (yes you heard it all-right.lol) BOTH of my rear tyres (including the pecah one) had been 'smashed-out' all this while. I've seen it myself. The 'in-terior' of the tyres is totally worn out/hancur. So in that case, ive been drivin' a 200 kmh to Melaka last weekend wif a 'smashed-out' rear tyres!! Man, that is horrifying. Thanx god nothing bad happen to me on that day. :63: But it is a good lesson indeed for me. :40:

So guys, be carefull ya out there. Always rajin to check your tyres conditions. Cheers folks!

Glad to hear nothing happen to you, your family and your ride. Betul tu.........we kenalah rajin to inspect our tyres condt on at least 1 a month and rotate it every 20k to 30k KM (if i'm not mistaken).
Nak tanya sikit in Ampang area where is the best tyre shop that we can do alignment & balancing, normally I sent my ride to do alignment at Goodyear at Sek 15 Shah Alam (masa balik to my mother in law house) jauhlah...nak cari kat area Ampang aje kalau boleh

Bro loafer, Yeap! its a maintenance free battery, i just bought it last
year(only 1 year age). My car not suddenly die but its couldn't start.
At the begining, whenever I hit the ignition on the sound heard only
'click click' but the engine not even cranking at all. Then, all the panel
indicator just blank condition and its seem like no current flow to supply.
For the second attempt, I tried to do the ignition on but to no avail, all
the panel indicator blank and no supply at all. Have called up my friend
to do the jump start the car then its so easier to start the engine like
normal. After warming up within a minute, start back(disconnected the
jumper from my friend's car) then seem like no problem. So, tomorrow,
I need to send my car to the nearest workshop for check up to see any
problem encountered. Thanks.

Ampang Boyz, sorry to hijack this thread for a while... he he he

Azam, later let us know what is your problem (boleh kongsi2 itu info:listen:)

Yes, Titan shocks is located at the light industrial area behind the Pandan Mewah Hospital. Look for Richard, cool chap.

For vehicle alignment, there's this guy who boasts at least a 98% alignment & I'm definitely a satisfied customer, his place is along Jalan Loke Yew on the same row as the Vkool shop. There's only 1 Dunlop tyre shop on that row, drop by & look for this bespectacled fella named Ah Soon:)

azam ,
as loafer mentioned , high on the suspect list is the alternator
but also ask the mechanic to do extra grounding .
as our car ages , electrical leak can't be avoided .
had similar problem before .
change the battery , then change alternator -still got problem
( the battery warning light keep coming up ) .
then the mech add a grounding cable from the alternator to body ...
had been using the same battery for almost 2 year already ...:top:

good luck !

Bros, if your batery is less than a year and you still have the purchase receipt I suggest just go back to the shop where u bought the batt and get a replacement (Normally batteries have 1 year warranty). It could just be QA/QC problem by the manufacturer..
And if I am not mistaken the "that dynamo thingy" is called dynamite.... hehehe

Bro Sham, you gave me such a good idea (why i'm not think of this at the first tot?),
I did checked the purchase receipt, found that dated was 7 Aug 2008, means that its
was only 8 months old. Wakaka, lucky for me its still under warranty. Then, straight
away called up the shop, but at the current moment no stock for the Century Din66.
So, will collect the new replacement on next week. Thanks.

Bro megat, thanks for the good infos... :top:
My mechanic confirmed and determine that, the failure due to my battery life span oledy
'out of service' but i'll repeat again to ask my mechanic to do some inspection on the
alternator and will ask him to do the grounding as per your suggestion.
Thanks a lots Bro....

p/s: The battery still under warranty, will get the new one next week...

Bro thankfully nothing bad happened to you. I don't quite understand what you mean by smashed-out tires though. When does this usually occur?

Bro, i dunno how to explained it technically because i'm not very expert in term of tyres though. Wat can i say is, the interior of the tyres is totally 'damage/hancur'. :4:

Bro Jay,
Dah berapa lama u pakai tayar tu??Selalu tak rotate tayar?Cheers!

since i bought the car.tehehe...... Yeah to be honest, i'm very 'jahil' about all this tyres thingie before this. So as i said it before, it is indeed a good lesson for me, bro.

climenta;407656 said:
Macha, tukar 4 tayar terus better. If the inner part of the front tyres are worn out, it has definitely something to do with your alignment (- camber) but I'm not sure about the rear tyres. Remember to swap rear to front more frequently b4 flying high speed.

BTw, before making up your mind on tyres, PLS make sure you review unker Jarance punya post on the tyre prices. Jangan kena ketuk:)

Yeah, i supposedly to change all 4 tyres. But the problem is, i got tight budget this month. Maybe next month tukar lagi 2.

On the other note, i do agree with your opinion about my alignment (- camber). I do remember my mechanics warned me about this matter. But u know laa me, always forgot! lol. About the prices pulak, i've already review those said thread. The price that i get is quite okay laa i think (without compare it to the Klang prices).
