That's really value the money but how is the result, is it good?

Is the address as below?
Ah Hee Auto, No. 1, A, Jln 11, Taman Putra, 68000 Ampang, Selangor.

I went to tyrezone for alignment but quite dissapointed because they couldnt fix the alignment issue. Car is still veering to the left if i dont hold the steering. Any recommendations?

Oh, btw the guy said bmw car is like that i.e tend to go to the left. But i dont think that's true. Germans are perfectionist so i dont think they tolarate such thing.

wz3k,

You may want to go to MPS Auto, No 1 & 3, Jalan PJS 7/17, Bandar Sunway, 46150 PJ. Tel: (03) 5643 0939. Many of our members get their alignment done there.

Yeah, i guess next saturday i'll go and visit them. Actually they were my first choice to go but since they didnt open sunday i went with tyrezone. Well i guess it's a rm53 lesson learned.

Thought i shall give an update after paying Speedline a visit for an alignment issue.

Issue: With steering wheel straight, the car steer left. In order to keep the car on a straight line, i have to steer the wheel to slight right. Make sense?

Results after sending to Speedline:
1. Did alignment and balancing. Washed my rims very nicely. Steering is now straight and the car goes straight.
2. When i remove both hands from steering wheel, the car swerve to the left! About 1 lane in about 4 seconds going at 80km/h.
3. iDrive error - driving brake control, flat tire monitor, ABS, start assistance inactive. :(

Obviously I wasn't quite happy and sent it back there again to rectify the steering issue. I didn't quite bother with the iDrive error because i don't think it's related but i did read on forums that it could be the steering angle sensor.

2nd trip back to Speedline:
1. Was informed that the alignment was perfect. Was advised that i have a "sensitive" tire and they will swap my left n right tyre. I'm on RFT stock on 18" Msport rims.
2. After swapping, the steering is now worst. Keeping the steering straight will have the car swerving right. In order to have the car go straight line, i have to keep the steering slightly towards the left. Completely opposite of the original problem!
3. Called Speedline and told him of the current problem. Was advised again that i have sensitive tires. Only way to fix it is to change tyres? wtf????
4. Was advised they are not free now, come back 2 days later. I told him i'll be travelling n will be back a few weeks later.

My plans;
1. Send car to AB for the iDrive issue. Ask if the error caused the steering issue or the other way round.
2. Make sure the error is fixed and if alignment is still an issue, go back to Speedline and get them to do something. I don't believe i have a sensitive tire but i can't argue with a tire expert without facts.

I am not completely satisfied with the service from Speedline but I will hold my judgment only after AB fix the iDrive error messages. Perhaps i should have given MPS Auto a try instead...? :) Anyone have similar experience with the problem? Please share!

Hi Torneo, since your iDrive error may have affected your brake, tyre monitor and ABS, I think it is better for you to sort out that one first. My E60 was having prob with the active steering and on and off, I was having prob with the car veering to the left or right when the AS gives prob. After sorting out the AS prob, my car drives straight now.

Update:

IDrive error was due to faulty wheel speed sensor. Fixed by AB. Car still pulls to the left!!

I was recommended by AB folks to get the alignment done by Goh Swee Hin Pirelli shop around the corner. It was very difficult to get it perfect but they never give and continue trying. Tested for 10 times before it was perfected. Folks there are super patient and is truly a master. Was informed that the alignment done on my car for front n rear was completely wrong for all four!!! I will never go to Speedline n get palmed off by arrogant workers there ever.

If you're looking for a steady and reliable man for the job, go to mr Goh.

How the heck can SPEEDLINE get it so wrong when they can easily get the standard set up data? It's absurd. Also, not the first time I hear about them saying tyres sensitive ... Hmmm ... Must be very cautious now.

May I know which Speedline u guys referring to? Where's the shop as I recently changed my tyre at Speedline located nearby my house at Bukit Rahman Putra, seems fine

Last Saturday, I did alignment at Speedline, Sg Buloh and they did chamber adjustment as well. Damage is RM80.

Personally went to MPS, great experience. Took about 2 hours, they really took the time to get it right. Drove my car a couple of rounds to ensure that it is good. Even set my camber nicely and now, my 320d, the steering even feels lighter! Amazing stuff. But it is also quite pricey :(

Just came out from MPS Auto for an alignment + balancing package; to be honest experience was superb; I can feel that they are very good at what they are doing and that alone felt good. Moreover for a tad under RM200 to incl. wheel balancing + full alignment (incl. camber adjustment); I thought that was pretty reasonably priced. They spent almost 2 hours for the entire job; did 3 adjustment and test drive couple times before handing over back to me.

Feels good driving the car; and definitely will return for next alignment job.

Ok finally went to MPS Auto. Took abt 2 hrs to do the allignment, balancing and chamber adjustment. Price:- RM 125 for allignment and chamber adjustment, RM 9 per tyre for balancing. All in came to 175 (10% tax). Result:- Car runs straight on highway. Definately recommend to others. Nice place for customers to relax also.

Does Manji still personally do it at MPS?

I heard there is a place in Glenmarie which may be better than. Anyone have any idea where is this place? I think the guy's name is Sun.

Did my alignment and balancing at ah man bandar baru bangi. It's the one with silverstone sign opposite kompleks pkns. Recommended.
