I decided to go MPS yesterday. Clean place, friendly ppl. More important very patient with the car. Had my car diagnosed about 5 times and test drive by Seong (Manji brother) for around 5 times too. Had my rotation done, alignment, off wheel and on wheel balancing, all for RM200 with few buck to spare. The price are a bit on the high side, but i like their service, the workers really take care of the wheels and tyres to avoid scratches, etc.

Most importantly my alignment issues are all solved !!

Highly recommended.

Thanks for all who shared the information on this forum.

C, champion, that's what I was talking about. Steady like a rock & feel so nice crusing on hi speed, right?

I can trust them & not worry about rough handling on my car, rims. I have total peace of mind with them handling my car but others... I just have to be there to keep watching. I bought that peace of mind with probably RM50 xtra?

A fren of mine once seen a staff of them handling slight rough on tyre, he immediately got Manji's red flag.

Pirelli Glenmarie ne... Hm... Anyone else tried? Care to share?

sent the car to MPS today

customer service and cleanliness are excellent :top:
i havent driven the car long and fast enough to give the feedback

however short driving show pleasantness with less bumpiness felt...they can actually aligned to sport mode but i refused to avoid harsh driving

will do some more long driving before can conclude it...but so far i believe they have been doing good job

Usually i go 001 tyreshop/specialist alignment at Danau kota,setapak....Need to leave the car for 2-3 hours for him to done the proper job...

I'm at MPS Auto now. After fitted a used AC Type III rims on my E39 and drove around 80kmph the steering. wobble. According to Manji, there is a gap from centre hole & hub. I spoke with previous owner of the rims and he said he has no problem using it on year 2000 E39 for years without extra centre cone. Mine also year 2000.

Should I use centre cone? Where to get it & how much? MPS doesn't have. Why there is a gap? Hub & centre hole 'makan' already?

Check the rim whether the specs is for e39.
Bore size is 74.1mm, measure it yourself, if its correct, then you dont need center cone.
The center hole is made tough, have not seen any that have been 'makan' before.

Sorry couldnt be much of a help.

Hey,how can adjust camber? I thot bmw camber and caster is fixed, only front toe is adjustable? Except if you've installed some of those 'camber mounts' with which you can yo yo your camber everywhere...

Hi Hayashikm, see below. I do tyre rotation, balancing & allighment every 10k km.
You will know why after worth paying that when you come out of MPS.
Steady & straight!

Allignment for front + rear, camber inclusive = RM135
Tyre balancing 4pcs = RM36
On wheel balancing 2pcs = RM20
RM191 in total, plus 5% government tax = RM200.55

There's once that I have no time but to check a tyre shop near my place,( I wanted to do that before heading back my home town for long holiday on Sunday) I was told me that my front need to do camber, I immediately walk out. Delay my journey to Monday. First thing on Monday morning, I drove to MPS Auto & have it done then drive home happily.

I went to MPS Auto today and the service are both professional and good. I spoke to both Manji and the bro Ah Seong (i think). Very friendly people.

Before the alignment service, my steering very heavy and whenever I let go of the steering, it will sway all the way to the left. Now, the issue is fixed almost 99%. Still sway slightly a lil' to the left. Accoding to Manji, cannot fixed 100%. But I'm satisfied nevertheless. Intend to drive the car longer to see how everything goes.

But one big difference is the steering feel. Before that, very heavy (i thought M-Sport behaviour) but right now, quite light but still a bit of resistance (heavy feel). Should this be default M-Sport steering feel behaviour?

If I'm right, front camber cannot be adjusted. Those r fixed. CAI as well. Only front toes. Rear camber can be adjusted.
