A friendly race on the KJE (SG) and a Double-thumbs up to a J.B. bro in his super sleek e36/4 -328 It started when I was on my sleepy way along the BKE sending my woman to work around 7.15 am today (13th Dec) in my black goods van a.k.a. my Scooby Frosty. While turning off the highway into the KJE (drivin fast in moderate traffic, as usual); i came up to a very lovely sight up ahead. Up close; i was admiring this VERY beautiful e36 sedan; silver, slammed low; squat with wide tyres; slowing as the taxi (i think) ahead of him was negotiating the bend slowly.( Too stoned to remember unimportant details. ) Up close; it only had that shiny '328' badge at the boot; no other ricey stickers or emblems. Serious in full M3 trim. I also noticed the "J.B. Bimmer's Club" sticker up on the centre of his rear windscreen. I must admit i was still rather stoned; so i think his no. must've been "KW or MW 328" as well. VERY NOiCE! I was happy with this encounter yet also sad that i wasnt driving my 36 then. Would've been nice to honk and make friends. I probably came up close a little too fast as i think he noticed and i could see him start to rev up too. I took the left lane and gunned ahead and could see him also trying to get out of the blockage to speed up; but was eventually held back. I sped ahead. "AH, what a beauty"; i told my woman as i cruised down the KJE; and she did admit it was rare to see tastefully done up 36 sedans these days. While crusing at about 120kph; i glanced up my rear view to check if coppers were anywhere in sight and i suddenly was jolted by the sight of the 36 blitzing right up my left lane! I gunned my pedal but my spooling turbines were'nt fast enough and he zipped right in front of me!.. COOL! I followed closely behind and wen the left opened i gunned again and pulled away; and in no time ; bro 'spike' was steaming right up again. Man! the way it zoomed up was a sight to behold(turbo? s/charger? nitrous? 
). It's what the mighty 36, with its muscular lines should be doing. Soon i had t to turn off so i slowed down; lowered the window and gave him a jolly :top:; and bro 'spike' obliged with a friendly honk. I'm just postin this to say that your 36/4 is probable the best lookin sedan ive yet seen. Very purposefully done; no extra nonsense; just pure seriousness in form and performance. I have always had high regard for the M.Y. car enthusiasts cos you guys build cars with class. Yes, there are the regular ricers around; but in comparison; Singapore cars are more cases of freak shows; over-done; tasteless; and just plain sad lookin. Anyway; i call u bro 'spike' cos all i could see while drivin behind u was yr spikey hair! lol!.. suits the speed yr car attains anyways too! So bro 'spike'; if u happen to make yr way down SG again; and wanna have a cuppa kopi; gimme a buzz la. I'm always glad to meet 36 bros and as the 36 scene in singapore is the pits; i think a photoshoot with fine examples like yous will show the cocky 46 & 90 owners that old is indeed GOLD! P.S: also drag my dear bro kenny down. He's always 'VERY' busy; tho he's never too busy to keep his beautiful e30 cab (EE 30) and his recently aquired e36 -M3 s52 lookin tip-top.
