Guys........whether it is an NA, Turbo-D or blah blah blah........It's still a BMW. I got a chance in rempiting with T2's 120i and Astro's 4 potter behind me ( Very Close )...........I am very impressed with these two variants!!!!............GO and test drive and follow what yr heart says..........:top::top::top:

Get the 323i if you can afford it. Price difference between the two cars is not exactly a pithy amount. I would have gotten the 325i but hey, not quite willing to spend an extra three years paying the bank(Read: licensed Ah Long facility).

I love the M-Sport kit. I see other 3-series on the road that don't have it and before I can put my finger on it, the first thing that comes to mind is, "That one looks a bit more boxy-ish...why?". But if you have a family, the people at the back are NOT gonna appreciate the M-sports suspension set-up. And yes, the door seals squeak against the shadowline-hi gloss trim but that can be solved with Gummi-Pfledge and a tin of silicon(both by Wurth of Germany)

The iDrive makes a big difference, but you will only truly miss it if you have previously driven a car that features it - as Shwepps has indicated, he would not purchase another car without such features.

There is of course, the fact that with a 323i, you will be driving a class leading 6-cylinder. The straight-six engine has been a defining moment for the marque.

My personal conclusion. if you can afford the 323i, get it.....the funky kit, you can afford to add, later on

Doc.. as much as u wish more 320d is joining, we should not encourage forming of sub-group. If that happens, our new member sbq79 will be very lonely with his N52B30.. the last thing we want is to see a pinkbimmer club or a bimmer07 club because that's really a splinter of a splinter group, and not helping in the unity of this club.

1BMWCLUBMALAYSIA!

No lah bro we all the same bmwclubmalaysia family...immediately I take out money and join the club right? -even at 3.30am that night..in the awal-awal pagi or buta-buta malam....Let us all pay the MR300 fee and join our SatuBMW club...!Don't be a clubguest for eternity...guest who like to overstay in your house for say 1 to 2 years also you don't like, correct or not? Don't be a free loader, can afford BMW must also can afford club fees too! Especially those stay in Dsara Hts correct or not?

Stronger hints that I'm no longer welcome to post are not needed guys. Thanks for the ride. This forum has changed in a negative way anyway if this is what represents BMW ownership. Over and out.

No lah Schwepps..don't be so sensitive...join us at the next TT...don't take this online banter so seriously bro, chill out ..have a paper thosai and a teh tarik with us and lets go do some donuts in the carpark!!

oooh.....then again, I know people who live in D'sara heights who can't even manage their credit card bills. And seeing as one wishes to encroach into this sort of territory, ahem, ...My apartment in Penang is not exactly prime real-estate.... Seeing as remarks about postal codes reflecting one's disposable income appear of relevance, will someone driving the latest 7 series or living in Bukit Tunku, come forward and assist in settling my next installment...or better yet, my membership fees - as one really should not be merely a Club Guest forever and ever. Or, umm.....some help with insurance dan cukai jalan boleh ah?

Please don't take offence. I feel everyone here should try to get along. And whoever thinks they can dish it out, better be prepared to take the same in kind. Some of you know me, have met me personally and well, some will also know that I rarely take offence....only small people get offended.

wow, lots of info for me to consider... good to know people here are very passionate about their cars.. i've asked my SA to find a 320d for me to test drive.. really need to see how hard the suspension is.. maybe can get to test end of this week..will bring my wife and kids along this time.. hahaha.. maybe can also sell the suspension later and replace with a regular one if too hard.. will this void the warranty?

The moment I got my 320d , I thought not hard enough bro(wifes always curse when they sit behind the 320d...(that aspect you can't satisfy them)!! Wanted to make it harder and sportier...don't go the other way dude! People burn hard-earned cash to make their rides harder, sportier....don't turn it into a springy Camry!

BMW ownership sucks I guess.... Paid members excerting their supremo on club guest... lol
what's next? BMW owners staying in Hi-so location poking fun of BMW owners staying in the 'low-so' locations?

No problem astroboy! How many pints you want also can! I'll try my best to make it for Bong's birthday bash too. Maybe see you all there! Really didn't mean to upset anyone. Sincere apologies to any bros and sisters who may have thought I was coming on too strong about the 320d/club membership...and I may have inadvertently hurt their feelings. Maybe I should start a thread Why You Should Not Buy A 320d to make ammends....

I actually am very proud of the guys running the club and MR150/member per year's fees is not much actually, considering they give us an annual gift every year too. The other MR150 is the registration fee-which includes a BMW shirt, cap,key chain, number plate holders and 2 car stickers (If I gave you MR150, can you get all that for the members if we made you next President??). It's more their hard work, blood, sweat and tears that's priceless.... and they don't even get a single sen for being committee members and doing all the organising and running around. Like I told the forum before, astroboy drives around an Innova (his own, not club's) van packed full of bmwclub tshirts, caps, number plate holders to club events and boxes of membership forms....he says his wife almost divorced him many times already because of his club commitments, and she has to follow him everywhere to drive the kids back etc./sometimes to help him drive the van back..........now if I asked you to be the next bmwclubmalaysia Treasurer, how much money do you think you would demand to do the job for 2011-2012? or maybe you prefer to be paid in plates of economy rice, maybe we can consider that option just for you....

Dorayboy,

Nice of you to explain to our club guests and also to give an insight of Astroboy's (Treasurer) committments to the club. Though the items like number plate holders, cap and etc may not necessary equate to RM300, to me the RM300 it is more of a contribution for the running of the club. Some may not want to contribute/pay or may view RM300 as not worth the membership and I am alright with it.

To all our Club Guest, you are certainly welcome here and perhaps later on, you may want to consider joining us as Official member.

Come back Schwepps!!! we love you!!! we miss you...........life not the same without youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Whether join as Official Member or not, anyone can still contribute positively to the club and forum.

Doc, let's go 248km/hr ;P
