wta:engine conversion

hello to all bros and sifu...im currently drive an 1990 manual m20b20 e34..for the past 4 years, it has been a great pleasure to drive this car but now not anymore. the gearbox has making weird sound and i asked my mechanic about that and he said it cant be repair so need to change to new one. so im thinking, rather than just change the gear, why not the engine also..buy a halfcut manual m50b20 and put it inside. my questions are:a) how much usually it cost for this type of conversion?b)i read somewhere here that it is hard to find manual transmission for e34, is it true?c)if its true, how about m50b20 + auto 5 speed transmission?how much it will be?d)need to change suspension also, which do u guys recommend?e)any reputable workshop that u guys can recommend for this conversion?rreally need advice and answers from u all, need to do some budget for this old car..thx in advance:wink:

any sort of conversion will come close to 10k or above......vanos non vanos double vanos......1jz 2jz.....xcluding.........inspection.......

Gearbox can't repair....problem????U can overhauled the gearbox....PM to me and I can show u the place.....kedai ni bikin gearbox je....near ampang place...

cannot bro, i've asked my mech and he said better to change..futhurmore mine m20, so better convert all to m50..

definitely harder to find than auto

get the m50b25tu half cut. probably budget rm6k for japan half cut with 5 speed jatco automatic

d)need to change suspension also, which do u guys recommend?
depends on whether you're after stock ride or something sportier, i.e. lower and firmer

e)any reputable workshop that u guys can recommend for this conversion?
depends on your preferred area/location
