I just change the PCV (positive crank-case ventilation) to do venting to atmosphere like in Euro cars. So, hose from top crankcase goes to K&N filter (small 3 inch diameter with shield) tied to tranny dipstick tube via hose clamp. The throttlebody input blocked by rubber dummy plug.
I don't want fumes on top of crankcase to go back to tb cos it will contaminate the flow of filtered air. Works well in my car with M20B25 engine.
I only see catch-cans in racing cars.
