mr_bertz;630788 said:My 2 cents,
Its a pretty reliable car for DD.
As for the 50k, i doubt you have to spend that much unless its a dying car. Let see...for rm50k
Clutch plate set set you roughly rm2500++
dua mass flywheel around rm4000/5000++
smg pump rm8000++
clutch slave rm1000++ (transmission sorted)
new water pump rm2700++
new radiator rm2700++ (cooling system sorted)
all new rtab, fcab, and all sorts of bushing rm1500++
upgrade kw v2 /bilstein pss9 rm7800++
upgrade to brembo or buy from bro yupet rm12k
fresh new rubber assuming 18 wheels rm3000++ (ps3) (handling sorted)
All the above will roughly set you RM46200. I dont see where is the need for RM50k..
But then again, you wont be spending that much.. Chill out, go and get one bro. Hehehhee...
p/s : please do a PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) at any of your reputable foreman/workshop. Dont buy a lemon bro.. Other than that, the beast is pretty much suitable for daily driving

Actually, that tickles my fancy too. But, the alleged maintainence cost of an M3 is frightening!
Others on my wishlist are the E93 335i convertible, R171 SLK 200K or the Caymen S 3.4. Hopefully to grab one of 'em b4 next March, ie, b4 my NCD expire.
