Considering to change to E46 M3 but there is questions and problems

Hi everyone,I've been looking for E46 M3 online and also try to get any news from friends and dealers. I saw a lot online but not quite convince with what they stated as good condition in some cases. I'm currently living in Penang, this is also the reason very hard to find a proper dealer that have any E46 M3 available.So is any of u guys know anywhere to find one? its ok at KL or any other places~~ will go for hunt when I'm in KL.. XDthen is there any workshop that provide full inspection on the car before purchase and also servicing ///M cars?One more thing is that i heard quite a few problems that always happen for E46 M3 is the differential problem, SMG gearbox faulty, sub-frame cracked so is there any of these problems?? any owners have any comments and suggestions??Is it a bomb replacing these major part?Anyway Thanks for any Comments and Suggestions guys.. XD

There are a few for sale on mudah.my in KL. There is a manual Carbon Black/Imola Red one with Kreissieg exhaust that looks quite good in pictures.
When I bought my M3 I got it inspected by BM World. They also service M cars. That said, any competent BMW mechanic should be able to do basic maintenance for the E46 M3.

My car does not have subframe cracks but it is a common problem. SMG pumps are prone to failing and will cost ~RM10k for a new one. Avoid this altogether by buying a 6 speed manual
My diff has the M clunk that is described in great detail on other forums.

That is why I wana be careful choosing the right one.
I've been thinking to get a manual one but u know la~~~ I'm big lazy guy...
