Apa khabar kepada semua peminat E46 318?Saya bercadang utk memiliki kereta 1.8,baget saya dalam RM 90K sama ada E46 318 atau Civic 1.8 kerana i minat kedua dua kereta ni,jadi member member sini tolong beri pandangan kepada soalan saya:1:Saya nak tahu apakah keistimewaan BMW berbanding dengan Civic?adakah kerana BMW buatan GERMAN?2:Banding 2 kereta ni adakah BMW jauh lebih baik pengendaliannya(Handling)?3:Sparepart n maintainance BMW jauh lebih mahal dari Civic,tetapi kenapa pilih BMW?4:BMW E46 318(2001)..Civic 1.8(2006) mana harus saya pilih?5:Apakah special feeling apabila memiliki BMW?6:Apakah memiliki BMW kebanyakannya berpendapatan tinggi?Itu sajalah soalan saya,harap harap dapat jawapan dari member member sini...TQ.

I think most BMW owners drive one because of the special passion for the brand due to the many positive attributes it offers from great driving pleasure to ultimate performance and comfort.
My suggestion is that anyone contemplating getting a BMW should test drive one so that you will have a better feel of the difference between these cars and others.
If you choose to own a BMW, then like what B33mER said, try to set aside some extra cash for the maintenance of it to keep it tip top. Good luck in you selection.

Owning a UDM is about achievement too.
I had a dilemma to choose between Civic & Beemer too before.
But I did not regret my choice to own a UDM.
The car is in different league compared to the Japs..
But make sure you did all your research, drive the car 1st, read important posting in this forum & finally make own financial planning before you decide (unless you have stash of cash stuck in the bank)
The guys here are helpful (and also kaki racun.. ha ha)...

Pegi je test drive the latest japan cars within that price range, that was what I did before I bought my E46. Tested the Lancer GT, Civic 2.0, Honda Accord (the previous one) and latest Camry. Then came along sorang kawan ni bawak E46 N42 je....drove it for a while then terus jatuh chenta. It's the driving experience, feel and have to admit it....the stares that you get especially compared if you were to drive those Japs car.
Anyway you really need to put aside a "Car fund" in case of anything, otherwise buy a brand new with 3 years warranty

Semua pun betull.. Aku dulu pun sama nak beli civic 2.0 or UDM.. Pergi test drive 3 kali civic mmg dah puas hati tgh nak submit pay slip kat bank tergerak hati nak tengok kedai keta lain tegok2 ader sebiki UDM nie warna hitam.. test drive sekali... terus break off dengan civic nie.... UDM hehehehe 325 SMG...
Bawa civic, make up org mesti usha... Bawa BMW make up, org mesti usha n org bawa civic yang make up tu pun usha...

sfl, its only fair that after all the feedback from the forumers please advise your course of actions or actions taken on your part. have you taken the initiative to test drive the bmw or the civic for comparison. curiosity must be supported by action.
Bro,betul ke 318 e46 tak banyak karenah?apa yang i baca kat forum ni menyatakan enjin BMW tidak tahan lasak n mudah makan minyak hitam selepas dipakai lebih 4 tahun.Apa yg saya risau kalau beli sebuah kereta yg dapat kepuasan memandu,tetapi selalu kena hantar ke bengkel dengan kos repair yang mahal akan menjadi satu tanggungan berat utk memilikinya.enjay08;363461 said:
