I guess there's been lots of people looking for tis stuff...but really which is suitable for daily use and comfort? Is it really worth da splash on a set of recaroS?or more practicle to get the mtech?btw, are recaros made for e30's?or are they cannabalised?  Some advise from thgose who owns one... :nyehehe:

personal preference....mtech (with the m badge ofcourse) all the way.

m3 2.5 sport evo has recaro sr as std...even better!!!!

wat abt this?? shud be ok for e30!!
doesnt look nice on my e34!!
my fren askin for rm800 nego!!

The cobra seats do look garang!!!does tat mean da seats have to be modified to fit?
I heRD that mtechs are more comfortable? is tat true?

yes, but also depends on ur size ?? length ??

1) mtec seat bucket not so deep.
- normal head rest.
- rotary knob for leg bolster, so hard to turn while driving
- leg bolster extend not as far as recaro(photo above i mean).
- suitable for shorter people, (i'm short, i still can feel the bolster touching my legs on most of the position)
- body won't slide here and there when cornering.
- hand will feel uncomfortable while traffic jam.

2) recaro (like the photo above) did made original for e30.
- the buckets looks deeper.
- wider head rest & i used to my my hand there.
- hand pulling leg bolster, easier to pull out when driving
- leg bolster extend further than mtec.
- suitable for taller person, (I'm short, sometimes i don't feel the bolster when i seat too forward)
- body won't feel slide here & there while cornering.
- hand will feel uncomfortable while traffic jam.

3) those M3 evo3 recaro , cobra type one... i feel thats superb after seating inside the Alvin's M3 look alike...

Ask the people who have it.... Tom ?? Calvin ?? Alvin ?? Joe ??

m-techs are good enough and looks the part for the era of car.

if you can get the recaro ori seat for the e30m3, but that's very very rare.

if you no patience but want sports seats, new sparco, recaro & the like can fit....but u gotta custom make the brackets.

ori is best & retains the rite look, fitting also less headaches.....

Ape abang TJ cakap ni???

sorry, ter-hijack, got carried away

anyways
the recaros were options, but mtech came stock standard for the E30 M3s, believe the m3 evo came stock with the recaros, and the evo3 had the best recaros made
mtech came in stock for the sports package, USA is called 325iS, and in UK called 325iSE
recaros were extra options for the sport packages, but available to normal spec e30 at a higher price, all seats came in either 4 or 2 door versions
