4. Tin Mine

Remember Jalan Telawi itself used to be a whole stretch of mamak's at nights, before the rise of the clubs. D.U. mamak by the road side as well,
and mid 80's Federal Highway used to be the race track... Bangsar fly over to Asia Jaya Fly Over then back... he he he he

You forgotten 535i, if you remember in the 60s to 70s Italian Job where Mini came to be popular, saw that film I think 7 times for Cooper's sake, Love Story 70s, I only like to see the MGTC in that film. In the early 70s I was just started working got myself first transport a scooter guest what a Lambretta Rm 450 2nd hand had it for 2 years bought a Fiat 850 wanted a Mini can'nt wait grap 850 Fiat second hand 1yr old as good as new 3000 miles on the clock you know cost me RM5500, loan from Public Finance 3500 @ 10% int. somemore paid 15mths habis had it for 6yrs got co's car to use and get myself a Triumph Spitfire playboy car kept till today. those were the nice days I enjoyed my time very much.

Isnt it Phases rather than Faces? And Picadilly and tea dances... :)
I remember the Telawi and DU mamaks, and Devi's Corner was just literally a corner in front of TMC. Now Devi's Corner is airconditioned, a francise and sponsored by Visa!!
