Okow,
After reading thru this thread, I think we're coming from the same era. B)
To all the rest,
If you're into Phil Collins live concerts on DVD, GET THEM!! NO REGRETS MAN! There are 2 concerts that were done, 10 yrs apart and shit! no difference in the quality of the musicianship with almost the same band line-up!! NOW THAT'S MUSIC!! :yahoo:
I always love blasting back to the past so I've got a collection of "past era' singers, live on DVD, e.g. James Taylor (2-amazing stuff!), TOTO, America, Paul Anka, EW&F, Acoustic Alchemy, 4play(newer stuff) etc.
Not to mention the numerous CDs.
All I can say is that...........THEY DONT MAKE MUSIC LIKE THEY USE TO !!
CHEERS GUYS AND THANKS FOR THIS THREAD !!
THANKS TO BABEBLU FOR STARTING......AND SITH FOR URGING IT ON :yahoo:
yeah he did and we all laughed.... no lah just kiddin...Originally posted by Juan Powerblow@Aug 23 2005, 05:28 PM
I was just telling babeblu at HRC last week that I'm a big fan of Rick Springfield. I also like Johnny Hates Jazz. Still got a nice collection of acid jazz from the likes of James Taylor Quartet, Groove Collective etc...

Dear Mr Okow,
I think if any of the tv station or MTV or Channel V looking for a VJ for classics, you're the one. With your knowledge and passion, I bet the show will be more alive compared to just having a VJ who simply reads the script but not knowing the story behind it.
Are there many 70's kids out there? Bet there are as shown in the poll. Anyone remembers Spandau Ballet, Johnny Hates Jazz, Rick Springfield, Prince, After 7, Bobby Brown (I may have jumbled the eras). Hah, not forgetting Risk Astley.
