Whats the best way to retrofit a USB cable to the e60?

Hi all,Recently acquired a 2006 525i (ckd) and am wondering if its possible to fit in a USB cable ? If so what would be the best solution and where ? Appreciate your kind sharing of your knowledge and experience. Thanks.RegardsJacky

our vendor bimmercoder is not doing the USB retrofit unless you change to CIC which cost you about 10k.

when u use the multimedia interface, you no need to change the original interface. its just add on.

I do have a Fiscube DVB-T multimedia unit for CCC. It is a German product.

You can view digital tv, connect your usb thumbdrive to watch movies (divx,avi) & listen to mp3. Quite a good product.

Fully operable on the idrive as you would an original bmw tv tuner.

You can view digital tv, connect your usb thumbdrive to watch movies (divx,avi) & listen to mp3. Quite a good product.

Fully operable on the idrive as you would an original bmw tv tuner.
