Dear all experts,My car use to clock up 320km for half tank of fuel. But recently with same way of driving and using the same road im not getting close that figure anymore and day by day its getting worst. Would any of you please enlighten me on what are the things to check ? Diag showing no issue but even so i know there is some issue that makes this fella to guzzle more. Thanks dudes.

320km for half tank is damn good.. my case.. 220km at half tank only  is that normal? btw, i am on 19' rims

My rim from 1st day of ownership is always 18". Could it be due to my mileage is hitting almost 200k KM ? All the maintenance in fact i will do ahead of time.

The gauge is showing half which 60 - 70 RM of fuel. Whatever things mentioned by Volvo is just changed 2 months back.

Best is to reset tripmeter every top up, then at the next top up, record the distance traveled and the value of fuel top up... That's the most accurate way to track.

Bro done that .... found there is significant difference compared to before .... This is what puzzled .... usually something the mech is scractching head i tend to post it here for more valuable input like this.

Compression test?
Check O2 reading at the exhaust?

Sometimes, the diagnostic can't pick up certain sensor fault accurately. Only an experienced mechanic can troubleshoot.

My fren tyre shop is along the way back home ... i practically dropby in his place every week to chat n ask him to check out my tyres as well ... so i think can eliminate this part.

Does the fuel filter will affect the high consumption ? I did not change this part yet

High time to change it then .... by looking at the fuel quality here .... this will be on high part changing list ...
