IMHO these teething problem are common with newly launched BMWs. Remember the F10 issues? Pretty quietened down already right? I can live with some rusty seat trays and dash trims that are a few mm out of line. Doesn't fundamentally alter the fun a BMW brings. But hey, that's just me. You pay your money and you take your chances.
Thats why Audi Group wants to establish Audi Malaysia to start running their dealerships here. Apparently their target for Euromobil was to have 100 dealers by the end of 2012 and they only managed 3 or 4.Fredo;792722 said:cannot agree more with you bro. I still remember my very first visit to Eruromobil, i was asked to come again next time as they are closing the shop already (yeah, i was late but there are still few people around when i arrive). If some think that BMW have poor service pre or post sales, no offense ya but I think Audi have worse.

it's like buying a durian that claims to be musang king but does not taste like it.

In terms of inside room, F30 wins over both C Class and A4. The A4 feels absolutely cramped inside. Some call it cosy.
In terms of teething problems and I have had my fair share, they are all being sorted out, just that we need to give some time. A4 since 2008, C Class has been around for some time too. The upside is the F30 will be around for much longer.
In terms of wind noise, F30 is not as good compared to the C Class, I didn't bother with taking the A4 to high speeds after driving it for a few miles. But the F30 could be comparatively quiet, depending on what you are driving right now.
It boils down to what turns you on where cars are concerned.

To me though, 3 things that really stand out in F30: i) power/speed - just to try it, I finally reached 200km/hr without any effort at all, beyond that I didn't dare, not too mention had broken the law...so now waiting for AES summon to arrive, ii) the look - it is quite contagious, the more you look at the rear or front, the better it look comparatively, beside I have a German style plate no, also pasted a Bayern Sticker on the circle and last but not least iii) the braking system - it's so confident and obedient....well that's my testi bro!

Needless to say he left showroom immediately with disgust. He end up with good deal the of the e90 stock clearance but kicking himself shouldhave waited for the f30

Juan Powerblow;794584 said:Is it just me, but don't y'all find CVT to be an absolute sacrilege...?!! No respecting Conti with sporting pretensions should come with CVT. Leave that for the Hybrids! To me lah, the A4 1.8T is a no-no coz CVT is a deal-breaker. The 2.0T with S-Tronic (DSG) is a totally different ballgame. The 8-speeder on F30 320i (even non-sports) is still ahead of the curve.
So the points in favor of F30, better gear box, better engine, newer look, and yes, better dynamics. On the quality issues, I recall my brother had a problem with his B8's engine that took not weeks, but months to resolve, firstly the technical bit, then the bill coz it was so terminal (timing belt snapped), he rightly felt Audi Malaysia should foot the bill. They eventually agreed to pay half. I have owned the E36, E46 and E92 for years without enduring the heartache he had. As for the F30, there are issues, but it hasn't robbed me of enjoying its wonderful dynamics.
