Hi, Everyone. I'm from Melaka. I was looking for a continental car, torn between Merc and Beemer, but at the end infected by the passion I see in this forum here, so B33mer or never.I've never own a BMW, but I'm now seriously sourcing for one. Did some skimming thru the sifu's post here. Seem's like a 523i E39 or a 328i E46 are goood choices and suit my budget well. Will continue to do homework here.Seeyah.

Seeyah.

Welcome to BMWCM Forum. U've made the rite choice of choosing BMW but be careful of lemons. Just prepare at least 10k to 20k for maintenance. U wrongly choose the model. Better get 528 above as 5 series is heavier or at least 525 M54:top:

Can anyone recommend a trusted Bimmer specialist in Melaka? So that in case I spot a good deal can send to him for assessment.
A car dealer told me that there are some mechanics asked for comission from them when brought by a potential buyer to evaluate a car....

thanks . Looks like the 525i double vanos is balanced between power and road tax:top: But have to wait a bit longer for the price to come down next year, bad time to source for car now:wink:
