275 Nm would be real nice and not far off the M54 3.0's 300 Nm. I remember the E36 328s had 280 Nm and used to keep up with higher c.c. cars easily! Would love to hear from Fred as soon as this tuning is available for the latest ECU. But, yes, is this a HIOP tune?

Yes this is the HiOP tune

Excuse my ignorance, but what are GT1, SSS and ISTA? So basically, you're saying there's no effect on warranty by doing a remap? 231hp/275nm would be just right and within existing drive-train component range IMHO. :p

Diagnostic and programming tools for BMWs. Remaps typically don't leave a trace and properly tuned cars don't trigger flags or codes. For NA cars, it is pretty straightforward....unlike the N54

remap?, did you really believed they remap the entire fuel/ignition MAP?
maybe they just adjust the speed limit only and everything just
original BMW MAP :34:

Yup, the E36 328i was a monster and to me was the last of the original raw 3s before it started going upmarket with the E46 and even more so with the E90. But it was susceptible to drive-train problems. I think 275Nm would be just nice. :top:

I'm so dumb. What's a HiOP tune, o sifus?

That's why virgins should ask what the effects are, right? :p Interestingly, the expected output would be equal to the 3.0L E90 328i (only available in North America) which is 230 bhp and 271 Nm!

what a sluggish E90, with 271NM? plus 1500KG+/-weight. :34:
look like the BMW want the user to swap in 4L V8 M3 engine..,
ha ha ha ha, maybe just 1 out of 1000 people afford to do it.
or swap in 3L twin-turbo?

Gee... good luck to all the E90er bros and sis out there, JOKER has invaded into the E90 thread :)

you guys/women was soo much rich $$$$$$$$$$,
spend such money on alang-alang sport sedan, why not direct
purchase Porsche, diablo, Z06, ...., or just alang-alang rich?
how did you guys get soo rich?, Hit ticket?, from royal family?, movie star?, manager?,
porn star?, hookers?, drug smuggler?,

born naturally in rich family?

anyway to teach us? :34:

Such a sad person, without a life, and probably without a single true friend in the world. Just ignore him Russie. :)

Bro Schwepps, as much as I wanna ignore him, it is however very annoying to see irrelevant postings from him. First in E36 thread, nowly slowly creeping into E90. If this goes out of control, soon he'll be all over the places. So contagious :) I believe most of us here don't like the way he criticises people. Just look at all the swearing and cursing he did... hmmm. Ok, let's just leave him alone.

remapping sounds interesting...but dont have the guts to do it...:p

i've been on a HIOP tune for past 18 months and done over 40k km ... so far no problems at all. touch wood! i've pre & post dynos showing increased performance that HIOP claim. Car has been in and out AD for diagnostic purposes & software updates but nothing flashes up or CEL appears.
in term of performance, its not day & night difference between stock and HIOP tune. i feel that at high RPM and above 160 km/h is where the difference can be felt.
most important is the reliability of HIOP tune. may not be the most aggresive or powerful tune available but HIOP is very reputable and Fred provides excellent after sales service

Russie, psychotics get their kicks from provoking a reaction. So don't react. Just ignore :D

friend?, a man without life?, me?
what i experianced from friend,
they will used you to make money for them, stab your back, nothing else.
friend was nothing good when/if they jealous, i ever experianced on my life.
my friend jealous on me, you know or not?, discriminate me, nothing else,
they were just devil than nothing. but off course afew friends was good but
must have limited barriers.

maybe alot of people too good with you, because you were still rich,
but when you were no longer rich, they gonna eat you-up, (but not everyone)

thanks for the encouraging review, is yours a E90 325i too?

i've been following a new gadget tat is recently available which does a better job than Sprint Booster, ie. Velocity Adjustable Throttle System. Lots of E90s & E60s down in S'pore have it fitted with good feedback.

though power is not increased, but the surge 'feeling' is strong as though the car gets boosted in HP.

Here's my thoughts on the KWs..

Pros
1) Best coilovers you can get out there for street applications for our cars
2) High quality, lifetime warranty
3) Very comfy esp over smaller bumps
4) Less roll on directional changes, more positive steering feel and control
5) Recommended way to lower the car, vs. just Eibachs as the stock shockers will go fast with just the lowered springs.

Cons
1) Takes a few rounds to the shop to "tune" the setup from dampening to right height. I've gone in total like 5 times to adjust them over time. Good thing is you can get them to your exact taste.
2) Slightly more noisy, esp air release sounds when going over humps etc.

For me its only 2 options. Either the stock BMW M sport/Performance suspension or KWs. You might want to explore the new BMW Performance suspension as its designed by BMW performance and so far good reviews on E90 post. I think Velocity has it on his 335 and is very pleased with iti. Less headache, full warranty but price wise, its similar or more than the KW v2s.

Thanks E46F for the info
