i am looking at exhaust mod too, and i heard from the 135i from the youtube and i didnt quite like it and it has a sharper tone. i like how the RD sport muffler sound in fact esp. the quad tip twin muffler on 335i.

i hope someone would post up a 325i moded with performance exhaust so i can get a better comparison...

such upgrade might cost you an arm and a leg bro!

- Headlamp cost around RM7-8k / pair, considering you can use back your original ballast + HID bulbs
- New Rear Boot RM1-2k,
- New Rear Taillamps RM1-1.3k

so, to add it up all is about RM11k + some coding charges since the Rear Taillamps are partly LED, so some modifications is needed.

Not quite worth it la bro! Unless you are moving up from Halogen Headlamp to BMW Xenon HID, but your 325i already has the HID.

meinauto, do you know anybody fix in LSD in their e9x?

Malaysia, no.....US and Europe, lots. Most are going for Quaife....need to know if your differential is welded or not

Some updated pics taken today. Finally figured why BMW doesn't spec the rear PBK brakes for the 325i. The hub diameter of the new PBK discs is larger compared to the stock ones (185mm vs. 160mm). Basically I need to install the 330i/335i parking brake on my car.

Thanks.. btw, I'd recommend Freddie from Obermaier for the PBK/BBK installs. He probably has done the most number of BBK and Brembo installs for BMWs here in Malaysia, and knew what to do and order for the rear brakes in my case. Very passionate fella when it comes to research and installs of stuffs on our cars :top:.

Myself and Sebbie paid RM11k for both the Performance Intake + Performance Brakes (Fr + Rear) from Stuttgart. According to them they made a mistake in the initial quote to us and had to honor it and Freddie believes so as well. I.e. Intake alone goes for ~Rm3.8k, meaning the brakes we got was ~RM7.2k for front and rear. Seeing that a complete set of OEM Pads, and discs all round cost in the region of a few grands anyway, its a great deal. Now if you walk into Stuttgart, they have a final set of Performance brake left and they are selling it for RM13.5k for just the brakes.

Picture seen, damage to the wallet done.. but how does it feel?! not the wallet la, the car! Was told if brake too makan, passengers will get nausea and likely to vomit..:31: .. I guess I'm just creating excuses for myself.. :10:

I'm still running in the brake systems. According to the instructions, it'll take 200 kms for the performance brakes to demonstrate its full capabilities. As of now, the most noticable feel is 1) the magnitude of a gradual bite to a urgent bite in terms of brake pressure has been greatly reduced. Meaning, I'll have to get used to this property to avoid my passengers from throwing up from stop and go traffic. 2) The original high pitched squeal when braking on cold (started after I slapped on the forged wheel) has changed pitch to a more low pitch groan (similar to sound of cold brakes on OEM wheel).

I haven't done a series of very hard stops yet as its only been a day and a few short trips since the install, only low to moderate braking done and so far the brakes have been very assuring compared to the stock. Freddie said that the pedal and brake feel from this set of performance brake is "very good" based on comparison to the many Brembo BBKs he's installed and tested. I'll find out more over the next few hundred kms

btw, another thing I noticed, in stop and go traffic, drivers on the left peer down at the wheel and stare or try to read the writing on the calipers. Its a funky shape/looking banana color caliper I guess..

.. haha.. even the slots and drill holes on the rotor is an eye catching attraction..

Looks like your ABS gonna work a lot harder now.. better get use to it before meddling with the DSC button..

For those who need to upgrade brakes, make sure all 4 wheels are upgraded. Some of those who just upgraded the brake caliper to increase the front brake grip, the rear chassis will lift a lot and throwing the passenger up and down.. easy to get butterflies in the stomach.. maximum discomfort.

Keep the spending going man! The country needs more people like you.. .. I'm doing my part using my credit card too.. :p now focus on paying off the financing and let the mods begin.. :boring:
