Hey fellas, Redbaron just called me to confirm the Sapura Auto car clinic is on. I believe many of y'all have signed up for it. Well, he also said the clinic will cover mostly on E90s, E60s and E87s. So, if y'all still interested, please be there Saturday, 9.30 am. For me, I had intended to go but made another engagement when I was unsure whether this event is going ahead or not. I'm now trying to reschedule that other appointment.

How come David's car in AB again meh? What happened?

Received a mailer last night from BMW. There's an invitation for Advance Driving for a fee of RM1,700 and a list of sport upgrade for E90 at 41% discount.

1. M-Sport kit
2. 18" new design rim Style 19(something), 2 design..
3. Aluminum pedals
4. Rear spoiler
5. i-Pod interface

after discount: RM20,888

Does it come with new 18's tyres as well? If it does come with good tyres such as RE050 or PS2, the price is actually quite reasonable!

One inch make so much difference meh? No worries! Yours still looks better than our OEMs.. :D and I guess there's ready buyer for ur 18"s too if u change your mind!

Edited: posted today 6/4/08..

Black E90, I am referring to the following CF splitter. U don't need an M-Sport bumper for this CF splitter and I think it looks good in our black ride.. :top:

I've done the K&N drop in at Calvin's place yesterday. Overall its a smoother engine response from my assessment. IN terms of raw power improvement, it seems to be more free revving, but only a back to back comparo with a stock 325i will truly tell the advantage. The car is already pretty decently fast on WOT, so I cant really gauge the difference. Any volunteers hehe?

Also the engine note is slightly different on high rpms. A bit lower pitched and louder. Will continue to monitor.

BTW the job to swap out the filter took Calvin less than 10 mins. Easy to swap back to orig filter if you wanna do this before svcs.

E46fanatic,

No doubt 19's look much better on the E90 :top:. I am hoping after the drop, it'll not look as bad on 18's with the car. Now the gap is quite big between wheel/tyre and fender. At the end 18's is more "logical" but sometimes, the heart is more enticing than the mind hehe.

havent got your KW V2?

After a long patient wait, our deal of a lifetime for the KWV2's has materialized! A big kudos to Ken for his jalan hehe.

Just collected it today, and first impression is that the KWs reek of quality all round. Stainless steel, beautifully crafted and really a work of art sitting in the box by itself. No wonder they offer lifetime warranty on the coilovers which is quite rare for coilovers.

The box sitting in my trunk. Love the pic of the E46 with the KW sticker on the front racing the 911..

Cant wait for them to move from being in the car to be on the car heh.

Wah! Very the sui! I'm so envious hehe :D
Do share with us the pics after you have fitted them!

Aha.... finally your KW is here. Yes, quickly get it installed and I can't wait to see your lovely ride with this coilover on it :D

Yeah baby! Fully adjustable ride height! Ur worries on scrapping your carbon lip will be a thing of the past!

I don't seem to see a the height adjustable seat of the rear coil, is there one, like in the following photo?

Ya I am pretty excited about the install. But as usual work is demanding and I'm trying to squeeze in time this week to do the install. Its killing me! lol.

Yea the adjustable bolt for the rear suspension is at the bottom right of the box in this pic.. black and purple round thingies, but cant really see the purple clearly as its facing down.

I am waiting anxiously for someone to post some pictures and comments on his ride with the newly installed KW V2 :D

I'll be taking some pics of the lowered ride this weekend. It looks so much better now with the drop and the ride on the KWs are really more comfortable than stock on normal driving. It soaks up small imperfections on the road, much better and is less jarring than stock. When you push the car, it stiffens up very quickly, and therefore, the car doesn't dip and wallow as much as the stock suspension. I've also noticed that the ride has improved since it was put on on Monday so I think the springs are settling down well.

So far I haven't scraped any bumps, and the carbon splitters are still "safe" for now *gulp*
