Is the right place to fine tune the EVC , can bring the GTR?

Wah.. for sure man... This is gonna be a pretty exciting track day LOL. Chup taxi ride as well in the MINES GTR35 kakaka.

looks like 10 Aug is gonna be lotsa fun at Sepang? how many E90/92 are heading there? FJ u going? its a Monday!

Ya if it happens, I plan to take half day leave and go join the fun. Need to buy a new helmet first tho haha. Why dont you make a special trip up to join the fun as well? Just take a brisk drive around Sepang also siok.

Its the one Nazri is organizing under the Motosport thread. I think 2 lone Alfas/Fiats and 2 lone VWs will be there as well. More BMWs than other type of cars so far. Much prefer private track than sunday open practice.

Its exactly the same filter without the K&N emblem...

I had a look at both the filters at one of the local accessory shops which had both.

There is a difference between the two, as the BMW Performance Air Filter has a larger surface area compared to the K&N. Whether this translates into more CFM, I would not be sure. Safe to say though, the BMW Performance Air filter is made by K&N from the looks of it.

Will post up the picture when I have the time (2 air filters side by side).

Cheers

Please do. I wonder how we can secure replacement cos I rather change the element than resort to cleaning which can be a messy affair and I don't think very effective lor. Over time, the element does get dirty, it even turns black and to change it every 15,000 kms to me is pretty sap sap soi.

Yippeee... It looks like I'll be doing ecu remap and bmw performance exhaust in the next 1-2 weeks.

Wah jumping from 190hp to 233hp?? Must tekan with you after the remap to see how well it unlocks the 323i. If you out run me, we should open a franchise to refer 523i and 323i owners and get a cut, and ... retire early.
