Type of modification on your E90

Its almost like stock on normal drive with the windows up. But when you push it with the windows down, then the growl from the performance exhaust comes out to join the fun. Sounds good. No drone at all in the cabin, windows up or down. I guess BMW Performance guys, knew the demographics of the potential buyers of their products. A lot milder than a lot of sports exhausts out there, and still sounds good when pushed.

Thanks E46F. Because I have been checking out the exhaust sound from Youtube and seems abit rough. Based on your experience, it will not cause irritation on my daily drive to work?

Well I think its best for you to do an in-car demo on Kevin's car. Hard to describe, but I doubt you'll be disappointed with it, based on what you're looking for. We also really need to benchmark its performance one of these days . Its supposed to give more performance gains vs. the Performance intake.

This one is super sexy. If I did not yet have an M tech spoiler fitted, I'd go with this. Its fitted on Kevin's E90.

BMW Performance parts

Seriously, the best way to get the parts would be to organise a group buy. Cheaper as well.

There have been some rumblings about the exhaust, the intake and the diffuser....if someone can take the lead in getting a min of 5 people to commit to one item, then we are set....I volunteer E46F or JPB

Just wondering hor.. what u all do with the old box le?! Its still piece of German automotive marvel, only not as great as the BMW Perf Exhaust.. it should at least make my 320i looks like a 325i..

I think MeinAuto's old 335i stock exhaust is still sitting somewhere in Fred's place. Go all the way man, make that 320i now look like a 335i! (debadge the bad boy while u are at it LOL).

Yah! I saw that //M3 E90 320i Sports too on Federal Highway yesterday noon.. nope.. not my style.. I think if I pasang the 335 rear muffler to my 320i BLM, the sound would be like people laughing from left and right..:rofl:

Yeah, that's the final piece of the puzzle for me i.e. does the performance exhaust add to the throttle response, performance. I like the idea of the sound, but won't do it unless there's a performance gain too, ideally as much as what the perf intake has given my car. :top:

I think there will not be much improvement if only the performance exhaust is installed, where all that you get is the sound.

But I was told that if both intake and exhaust are installed, then can realise the full potential!

intake + exhuast wont add much ponies to your ride, seriously! why not just put in the 3.0L stroker kit? i will buy you the 335i badge when its done! :wink:
