The car now can be start after i change back the previous spark plug, BOSCH super 4. seems like the Denso iridium doesn't suit the M52 engine i guess. Just use it for good 16,000km..

at least got something to cheer me up today :sleep:

1 itchy question. Is this model E38 730iL V8 ok?

Can't really answer your question as I have never driven any E38 730iL V8. But I believe engine maintenance could be a bit higher than 728i

The 730 was introduced for a short period only 1994-1996 Therefore the number of units on the road is limited and the number of BMW running with 3.0V 8 M60B30 engine is also quite limited.

Maybe you should do a back to back test drive 728 and 730. Please share with us on your findings.

My mechanic also advise to stay away, as the production of this engine for E38 is very limited which shows that the might be some hiccups. anyway, if u itchy want to view a good unit, i know someone who wish to sell it. location at sg besi....
