Wonder what petrol has to do with transmission? Bear in mind that we relatively has a good quality of petrol here. In US, highest grade is 91. Below that is 87 and 89. Diesel is still Euro II compare to Europe but I can't seems to connect between 'gas' and transmission.
Hi Zidee, I was facing the transmission fault when the time I used ron95 petrol, but after changing to ron97, the gear changing smoothly and no more transmission fault message appear until today (6 months already). That is my conclusion. It could be the explosion of ron95 has not enough power than ron97....
I wonder, how come the ATF will disappear? It's happen to mine E60 too, wanted to change the ATF, flush out only 5 liters, but refill new ATF at 7 liters, where is the 2 liters gone???

Good to hear that your gbox problem is resolved with the replacement of new mechatronic solenoids. Heard you also replaced the double vanos seals with the Beisan ones. Believe you are enjoying your smooth ride now.
