btw, BMW are equipped with long final drive for low rpm highway cruising... a shorter final drive would be more suited for track runs. but would u take the trouble to swap in and out the rear differential???
Small mattet Daniel. We'll be out there again come Nov. My top speed after turn 15 is no more than 170 also. Next time I will ditch the AS2. After 5 laps can feel it losing grip. The RE050 on my little CRZ was happy lap after screeching lap.
I drove with stability control off but at corners you see the light blinking. Does that mean its kicking in? I wonder.
The amount of pitted rubber threads from those racing slick is all over the track. My tyres look exactly like what tribena shown. There so much debris I got few of them stick on my wheel valve per the pic. Plenty of "rubber skid" mark on my bonnet from these flying debris.

Its not crack, its the thread pattern but look like crack coz some of those rubber got deposited in between...right after the track run that crack was fully covered by the rubber debris...

Finally back in Penang again! This is a great and valuable experience for all.
I had my ASC turned on at the track and it interfered a few times by cutting off power. Without ASC and my high diff ratio the car would surely spin crazily. Even with ASC turned on I managed to drive off track
T2 is correct that it was an attempt to run away from the M5, how can a 4 pot goes against a v10?!
I only have 7 pictures for this, as tIANcI said, we are too excited to drive.. also turned off the carputer for no good reason (turning off the aircon make sense) so no onboard video too.

Comeeee we go again......RM 300 is still cheaper than a 2 hour happy massage. So much adrenaline pumping. : ) Tianci, can TT anytime for photo taking session. i still cannot get over the feeling of the rear fishing out each time i floor too early before exiting a sharper corner. Car still not washed and tyres are full of black bubble gum sticking to it. Surprisingly the front road tyres wears off faster than the rear semi slicks. Both falken. Love it love it, i got the bug.
