GOOD:1. Looks fast, styling purpose2. Reduce lift, increase stability especially during corneringUGLY:1. Increase fuel consumption2. Reduce top speed due to excessive dragMAYBE:1. Defuse drag but this type will not reduce liftDepending on design of the spoiler. Let's examine the 3 common tyre for my car:M3

The greater the slope angle of the boot spoiler, the greater the down force created, the greater the drag, and hence fuel consumption and top speed suffer. So choose your boot spoiler smartly.Any experience to share? I am suspecting my after market M3 boot lip spoiler produces lots of drag, top speed and FC suffer.. despite the sweet cornering sensation, yet I no balls to floor in the corner.. so what's the point?.. sigh~ :2:At 200kph, the slightess slope angle of the boot spoiler will make a lot of difference. What's your take? Got experience to share?
