Nice to know that you had fun at the track Raz. For sure now your car control will be better. Sepang track it is all about speed but most of the time you dont feel it until you see the speed meter. Rally still more fun depend on what car, but doing 120km/h to 220km/h between rubber or palm oil tree it is so trilling.

Hey Raz,

Glad you were doing better in the 3rd session as opposed to the first couple. I noticed that you were a little shy around the corners when I was behind with my student (black singaporean civic). He was on your tail coming into turn 8. guess you were not on full throttle coming out of the turn. No worries... you get better as you continues driving.

Its normal for a female newbie to feel apprehensive on the track with so many cars around. Even my girlfriend who was in my car in Group 3 was feeling a little scared all the cars were very close to each other and fighting to get to the next corner. Also the sound of the tires squeeling got her a little uneasy.

My A4 was pretty fun to drive around but certainly not as involved or fun as the Z4. I had to induce a little oversteer to line up the car to get around one corner. Other than that, its pretty simple. If I had my Z4 it would have been more than a few oversteer situations. Next time...

hey why don't you post some of your pictures I sent you.

Hey RedZ4,

I couldn't thank you enough for the encouragement and that extra push factor and, of course, the great pictures.

Cheers

guys u know what to do to grace when she ever turns up at HPC...*evilgrin* hehehhehehheheh

wei david you posted porn or what? until your pics kena deleted....

No la, it's not porn. It's a picture of our Raz's Z4 taking a corner. Dunno why it was deleted :(

hi,

i had the pleasure of driving a z4 from genting to kl last 3 days.. it was the 3.0ltr auto.. overall, it's a great car, considering it was a stock standard (with mtech suspension). it had no problem matching my GTI from rolling.. the z4 has a very sorted chasis, even with the top down, flat in the corners and fairly sharp steering response (only when the sports mode is on).. driving at 200kmh with the top down is still bearable, suprisingly.. :top:

anyways, i think u would agree with me, the SEAT is the achilles' heel of the z4.. too flat, and no support at all.. i'm sure u were thrown around in the car around sepang? might want to consider z4m seats or better (since it's a roadster), get proper bucket seat! :top: i believe a set of better offset rims and wider semi-slicks tyres wud make even an auto 3.0ltr z4 a sleeper car around sepang (only with proper seats.. heheh)
