the steptronic manual shift on early models ('97-'01) i think,shifts up by pushing the lever fwd.most cars and later models shift up by pulling on the lever.so...here goes....what is needed was to swap the 2 middle wires and you're done....and change the + and - sign......slide the yellow cover to the side
press the pin and slide out to swap places
