EBC Greens are actually meant for fast road use.

You can use it in track, but you may suffer early brake fade if you drive fast or late brake. Also the EBC Greenstuff being a relatively soft compound if subject to track use the wear rates on the pads will be high causing an unexpexted early pad change. So please monitor your pad level before and after each track day.

If you frequent weekend track, redstuff is the better choice but you won't have the immediate bite feel like a greenstuff during road use. EBC Redstuff give you a less agrresive bite at cold and works and bite really well when driven hard.

For steel braided hoses, go for Goodridge. Based on hearsay comments, there seem a difference in responsiveness between Goodridge and Pro RS. If u wanna put for the sake of looks, then anything would do loh, but if really want it for what it is meant to do then spend a bit more and not regret it. Anyway, it's still below 4 figure. Not exactly EXPENSIVE.
