IPOH, Sept 15 (Bernama) -- A driver was killed after being thrown out of his BMW car after it skidded and caught fire at Km 346.7 of the North-South Expressway near the Sungkai toll plaza, about 100km from here, early today.Tapah police chief Supt Roslan Bek Ahmad said police could not ascertain the victim's identity as no personal document was found at the scene.However, he said a copy of the Quran was found near the burnt car.The accident was believed to happen about 1.30am when the victim was travelling alone on the north-bound expressway.The car skidded and crashed into the road divider and burst into flame, while the victim was thrown out of the vehicle, he added.He believed that the victim was run over by several other motorists after being thrown out of the car.The smashed body had been sent to the Tapah Hospital.Police urged witnesses and those with missing relatives to contact the Tapah police at 05-401222.-- BERNAMA
 
Keeping my fingers crossed, hope its not someone we all know. RIP to the deceased, hope he is identified soonest possible.

He was travelling north alone.lost control of the car which hit the mid-barrier and was flung out of the car to the other side of the road apparently.There he was hit repeatedly by cars or lorries who may not be able to see him till it was too late.
The body was torn into two,the upper torso smashed beyond recognition.

Horrifying.
