"to me the club shirt is the identity of the club just like a flag to a country, so Mr. Yong what you have said or will do makes you no different from the people who went so low as to burn our country's flag....

I wonder when you go to your friends house do you shit in their living room or in the toilet...(I hope this does not offend you as Im being very frank, but from how you have potrayed yourself it does seem that you are that type of person who would actually shit in the living room"...you are a disgrace for somebody who drives a E90..

Why outsider complaining la. We the paid up member are happy with it so what is your problem. If you are part of the team than you have the wright to complaint, but if you chose to be and outsider than please comment when you are ask other wise just keep it to your self. Not every BMW is good looking but if you own one than you have the wright to comment but if you driving proton and than want to comment about BMW dont waste your time guys.

We the outsider is not complaining as it is non of our business. We were merely giving our opinions on your club shirt. If you guys can't accept criticism, then I'm sorry for you as those who chose to ignore criticism are doomed for failure....just like our good old proton.
Btw, I'm driving a e60 and W203. Cheero:thefinger:

Holy Moly! What happened deh! Ok, the way I see it, there are ppl here who have every right to be fervid in defense of the shirt cos they were involved one way or another in making this happen. I have been around long enough to appreciate such contributions and even if I'm critical (which I'm not entirely in this instance), I would restrain my criticism and be a lot more considerate. That's not becos I want to be a nice guy (heck! if you've been around long enough, you know how I can be not so nice). It's becos its only the decent thing to do. Cross the line, it just becomes shameful. So, I think some apologies are in order.

However, I really loathe some elements of self-righteousness on the part of "official" members. Does "official" membership gives us the right to use our status to treat other forum users with less deference? If that's the case, I dowan to be "official" cos I have many friends who are yet to be "official" in this forum who have also contributed immensely and I want to treat them with respect, not be "one-up". So, another round of apologies are also in order from the other "side"?

Let me start, I'm SORRY for perhaps causing this mess cos I went a bit off topic and brought up about the shirt. I did have comments on the badge and sleeve but I meant for it to be CONSTRUCTIVE. In any event, I'll certainly love to wear it for club events and have enough basic detailing sense to know it's the worst thing to use to wash the car!

then you all are a disgrace for somebody who drives a E90, E60 and W203

Mr. Mike that is what Redbaron is trying to say if it is non of your business just keep quiet...if you want to give your opinion saying you agree to what somebody had said is not giving an opinion...and Im supprise that for somebody who owns a E60 and a Mercedes you seem to have no common sense at all.
What you have done is just like you telling your biggest client that his wife looks like a prostitute....and hoping that he will shower you with his gratitude by giving more business...

Eh, stop using models as a reference point lah! Why do you guys do that? It shouldn't matter whether one drives an E90 or E30, everyone is part of the same Club or forum and ought to be respected equally. Why make this distinction? Why cause friction between fractions?

Juan Powerblow i'm only angry over the issue about washing their cars with the club shirt.....and further more they don't even have the shirt in the first place........no money to buy the shirt and say that the shirt looks like shit... or pay $300 to be an official member then burn the shirt vbmenu_register("postmenu_253740", true);

Joe, I can understand and appreciate why you're angry. Anyways, you should know I got no dice with you. Just that I get quite worried when we distinguish ppl here on what they drive cos it can get other ppl involved unnecessarily. Hope you understand cos this has happened many times b4. Peace, man!

i also understand your point of view......i'm not banging people who drives e90,e60 and w203 but it's just to that guy that want to wash his car with the club shirt..........and to people who has no common sense

vbmenu_register("postmenu_253739", true);

If regulars members are not welcome to give their comments, then just make it official and we shall gladly shut our gaps! And you can 'jolly' youselves for all we care. I rest my case.

Mike you can give your comments nobody is stopping you...dont say "Bro I agree with you" and consider that a comment...You should have done what JPB did, now that is a comment..telling us what is bad about it and how to improve...dont just say its ugly and expect us to thank you. If you have said this in the Audi club or Mercedes Club its ok...but you are in the BMW Club forum where people pay RM300 to be member and the shirt is one of the items given away and here you are trying to say they are stupid to pay to get an ugly shirt, how can...like I said earlier use some common sense...be politically correct frank. PEACE

Halo...Wooi....brothers....why fighting over the models of our rides...the person who said he wants to wash his car with a RM300 club shirt is not responding to any of the comments already....Probably he thinks the RM300 shirt isn't make from micro-fiber material, so can't use it to wash his car.....

Somewhere along the line, Someone by the fence was just giving an opinion for the design of the shirt.....

thsaw99;253595 said:
well you can get ralph lauren or armani to design the shirt and you will still find someone who thinks the design sucks...why? cos taste is subjective...so? at the end of the day if the committee had done the best to come out with the design, i accept it...:top: :top:

Very well said by bro thsaw99.....

So brothers, why keep stabbing each other....???
For those who thinks the club isn't progressing in the correct path or requires much further improvement in any areas, please come forward to extend your hands, expertise, and, contribution in any way to improve the club for the better.
Just my 2cents worth......

Harlo nobody fighting over the models lah...just supprise that got people who own this models whom we look so highly upon can say things like that...infact in a way its complimenting the others except for you know who

Actually I find that wearing the club shirt looks like mechanic! The shirt look cheap. It doesn't look good larrr... Just my own opinion and hope it doesn't offend those who like to wear it :)

it was his opinion.. so let it be... he's just commenting about it..

David Yong... it was not right to say one to wash car with it... i suppose it happens to other clubs, not when you are one of the contributors in the e90 thread..

Mikyew.... it's good to step in and assist David... but dun put a full stop..

Shafilo... yup farting is good.. but i think my fart(e30) exhaust is louder...

as i said, everyone has a right to his/her opinion..

regards..

Talk cock!

Fighting over a comment about a shirt is bad enough.

Bragging about what cars one owns really takes the cake.

Are people in this club that insecure about themselves that we need to resort to this sort of behaviour?

I've got a suggestion, at the next official club meeting, why don't you all just pull down your pants and see whose c-ock is the biggest? Would that settle it once and for all?

Some joke that people who buy big fancy cars do it to compensate for something they lack. Ever heard of the saying 'many a truth is spoken in jest'?

It's exactly this sort of sombong/lansi kindergarten crap that cheapens the ownership of a BMW.

And this is not the first thread of this sort, especially since the club went 'OFFICIAL'.

Committee, can you please do justice to those who have paid money and deliver real benefits instead of just drunken get-togethers and this nonsense?

Otherwise, it's just gonna put off potential new official members and the only ones who'll be renewing their membership next year will be the same ol gang, same ol kakis.

Btw, I'm driving a e60 and W203.This is what mike yew said only he knows what it means. But when David Yong remark is un call for which is club shirt good for washing car. I know you come from very rich man family and you have very high taste but pls do not insult our club shirt ok.

Give me free also I have to think "more than twice" whether to wear it or not and most probably will just use it to wash car instead! RM 300 ????

Mr David Yong why make a big fuss about the club shirt and trying to think more than twice wheather to wear or to wash your car wit it... i have a few prostitute friends who really wants their thinggy to be washed why dont you spend the RM 300 on these friends of mine.. i think they'll be more happy and they definately going to thank you for the contribution... i hope this doesnt offend the two people who started it..just merely my liang e pai RM250 opinion
