Great idea Slide, why dont you come up with a couple of suggestions and post it up. Lets do it week after next or so, perhaps a drive to Kuala Selangor for Sea Food or something.

Slide.. i'm open to any ideas... Why don't we have it on a Saturday to avoid weekday traffic?

Any ideas from anyone else? My "makan-makan" list is restricted to Ampang :p How about Senawang? Bangi? Kajang? Hmmm... Satay Kajang... :nyehehe:

Hahahah... it was just a suggestion.... i was hoping that this could be an official BMW club thinggy.... but we should start a list of possible venues anyway. Somewhere about an hour out of KL i think.

Who is interested to do this?

I dont mind assisting you with this event, but your call on the venue dude. I guess if you're gonna drive out of KL then it will have to be on a friday or saturday. Entirely up to you dudezz

Not much of a drive though - probably reach there in 10 mins using the highway :p

Somewhere via trunk roads, real driving pleasure!

OSF...

eh, our Muslim brothers are going to break fast, man, that means they're going to be hungry... and you want them to drive on challenging roads?

Maybe best to highway there and trunk road back.

A lot of good ideas and suggestions, but shouldn't somebody from the com do it?

Maybe drive somewhere that's a bit interesting with good food?

More suggestions please.

Cheers.

Slide... We're all in this club together. Doen't matter who does what. If the com approves... by all means, organise it.

Like sithwarrior says, we don't mind helping you out... :eek:k:

So... where's it gonna be? Any more suggestions? I've laid out mine... :)

Good idea guys,

The comm does not necessary need to approve these kind on members makan-makan outings. As long as, remember to drive carefully and enjoy the food. Any member of the club can organise outings and events.

Mr Slide, the committee's responsibilities covers more than just organising ad hoc leisure drives. Representing the club, we usually organise official drives with at least 20-30 cars. Like what jeff has said, such ad hoc drives can be organised by anyone in the club. As long as it's not official, it doesn't matter. E.g. there are many TT sessions but only one is official. ;)

Before a suggestion or idea gets materialised, a lot of issues and factors need to be taken into consideration. Do you know that doing convoys of more than 10 cars is actually considered illegal without notifying the authorities? :nyehehe:

any update on berbuka puasa drive session?

yunkies hut bangi sound interesting.
lotsa ikan bakar and very peaceful place. :D
