Yes I did. The brakes have a better feel compared to stock. But I cannot tell if stopping distance is better, I would assume so. If you look closely the resemble the 335i and MSport brakes, just different colour calipers and slightly diff size rotors.

I just got back from Ingress (10.50 pm); late collection of my dad's F10 sent for small repair and witnessed truck loads of F30s being delivered! Quite a few Alpine White / Coral Red. Problem is, truck driver didn't know which is whose and complained he's making another trip to deliver 12 more units, mixed colors. So, this list gonna build up a bit more, hopefully with me in it. All my docs signed already and I should collect it early next week, fingers crossed.

I saw many admiring the car and pointing at the red calipers while I was in the process of collecting it. I do hope they (you) were complimenting the car. I am infinitely satisfied with the car, only thing to do now is to narrow the fender gap and reduce the body roll, (and maybe some concave 19" wheels with non RFTs, and a tuning box along the way, and maybe do some coding on the iDrive, and maybe an opti-coat treatment.......)

Just did my 2000 km engine breaking in oil change. Some good stuff! With a bit of moderate driving, and the temptation to heavy foot once in a while, I've gotten a FC of 12.3 km/100L. How is everyone else doing?

Only 15 kms on the clock. Didn't wanna drive more after collection coz it's raining. Can't wait to fully run-in and tekan a bit more. Right now, engine very tight. I have to say, build quality on the SKD looks pretty darn good for the F30 so far. Can't say the same for my dad's F10. Funny?!

Yes, I did. I went to the SC to do the oil change, and oil filter change, the whole thing came up to RM 698.25 inclusive of Labour and Parts. It included a complimentary car wash, but, it was raining at that point of time, so I didn't see the point. Although they did vacuum the car, which was nice, and at least the brake dust was temporarily removed . The car used up 7 litres of engine oil, but this may vary engine to engine, so your total cost may vary.

I don't know if it's advisable or not, but from reading various online forums, it was pretty much recommended. It is, however, not covered in your BSRI so you will have to bear the cost. However, your service mileage won't be reset, and your next service due will be at 10,000 KM under the BSRI.

+1 , apart from the rust that I had on the C-pillar, the ride doesn't seem like it's built locally though.

With clear weather tonight after work, I did manage 30 kms or so and the ride is quite something. It's comfortable yet solid. The EPS is beginning to endear me too, being well weighted and freaking precise. Engine loosening up a bit more so can feel the punchier torque now. But in terms of ride, its like I just upgraded from a Datsun to a Rolls Royce, when in fact my last car was an E92 CBU I had from new!
