I've been told there generally isn't a need to break in the engine, but I figure it won't hurt!

Yup. Not suppose to rev the car beyond 4,500 rpms. That's what I remember from reading the F10 520i manual. Should be the same for 328i. Still fun nonetheless coz max. torque should taper off at that range.

Yep, that is true, however, they all say how the car has been high-revved in the factory. Anyways, I am following the breaking in phase. Anyone did, or planning to do a post breaking-in service?
