Recon F10 528 vs. 523

Dear Bros,

I am considering to buy a recon F10 of year 2012 - 2013. Most of the recon units available are 523 (some M-sport and some non M sport).

What is the difference of a 523 an 528 ahh? the engine? the trim?

Appreciate the input.

Was introduced to a 2014 520D LCI pre-reg unit for RM325K ...

Hi there,

I am assuming you are looking at the 2010 523i and 528i. These 2 models are the last of the N/A 6 cylinder engines coming from BMW. The 523i being the 2.5l and the 528i being the 3.0l.

The newer F10 was then introduced as the 520i and 528i both running the all new turbo 2.0l engines but tuned differently to reflect its performance.
