Fellow Members, BMW Club Malaysia will be organising a drive to visit the Assembly Plant in Kulim on the 29th January 2010. The preliminary iternary is as follows:- 29th January 0700 Congregate at Sungai Buloh R&R For Briefing 0730 Depart for Kulim (staggered into 3 groups) 0930 Short break (20 minutes) at Sg. Perak R&R 1200 Lunch at Seberang Perai 1400 Visit Assembly Plant 1700 Drive to Penang Island 1900 Check in to Hotel Malaysia/Cititel Dinner - FREE AND EASY 30th January Checkout and depart for KL _________________________________________________________________ For those that are interested, please list down your name, if you are serious of making the trip as the names will have to be provided to the plant manager before you are allowed access into it. The hotel rates will be made known to all, once we received confirmation from them. The maximum number of cars for this drive is 30, and it will be first come first serve. Can try Hotel Peking.. Just above Soho.. hehehe...
Hotel Malaysia is ok for no frilles accomodation.. AFAIK, peak rate is RM138.
U can also enquire for Hotel Continental, right next to Hotel Malaysia..

The thing about staying on Penang Road is that you can get drunk and still crawl back to the room.. hehehe.. And when you're hungry, just walk down to 24hr Sup Hameed and order their sup kambing...

But if you have more than enuf to splash, can always opt for the extreme : E&O...
