Fabian is correct. You need to apply for this card called AutoPass when you enter at Woodlands or Tuas checkpoint. You need pay for this car and this car will be registered with your car. You are entittled free 10 days to enter Singapore excluding Sat/Sun/Public Holidays. The ERP is applicable on 31st Aug which is flat fee of S$5.

Yup this Autopass costs about SGD10 bucks. This will take sometime, especially when we have like 50 cars.
This autopass is like upgraded version of touch n go, you definitely need it around Singapore, can use to pay for your parking (no need to pay extra 10%) and etc.
Any idea of the procedure of crossing the Spore border ? We need to purchase , dont know what card to pay for the fees for entering Spore right ? That could take sometime since I also do not have one.

I think everyone going on the trip should get hold of a walkie-talkie. Get the Motorola Talkabout.
As for the autopass application, should have a separate for those without one. need to see how many without it and how to organise it efficiently so that not everyone go to the LTA office at the same time. They can't process so many at the same time.
Get ready your roadtax slip. Put it in the car.

Thanks Justin. Didn't know ERP is applicable half day on Saturday. .
..hopefully the organiser have thought of all this things and arrange with immigration and what ever authorities for the easy and fast movement of a 50 car convoy..otherwise its going to be nightmare..
just curious, if there are more than 50 entries, would it be first come first serve for all or Official Members would be given priority based on the list?
I suppose that should be the case otherwise we have people like astroboy already thinking whether he should renew his 2010 membership...but fret not I hear the comm is hiding something up their sleeve..:top: ...hear oni ah..real or not is another story..
Aisay sadly I gotta pull out. Realized, I'll be away over that weekend in Sabah... Bad timing man and sounds like its really gonna be the best drive ever.

Q Can I drive a foreign-registered car without an IU on ERP-priced roads? A Yes, you can drive on any ERP-priced roads during ERP operational hours without installing an IU in your car. You will be charged an ERP fee of S$5 for each day you drive on ERP-priced roads.
This fee is payable with your Autopass card when you depart from the checkpoint. Just remember to have your Autopass card topped up (at 7-Eleven stores, selected petrol stations, top-up booths near the checkpoints and local bank ATMs) with sufficient cash balance to pay for ERP fees, VEP fees and toll charges before you proceed to the checkpoint.
Please note that there is no Autopass card top-up facility within the checkpoint premises.
So it looks like we will need SGD10 (5 for Sat, and 5 for Mon) in total right? We will need to top up the basic Autopass card in SG. Erm.. what are these toll charges? VEP is payable only if you have used up your 10 days free per year right?

I think some ERP gantries like those around Orchard Roads are operational even on sunday..

Being an official member has other privileges, namely discounts at restaurants, club merchandise and Castrol oil, which has more or less offset the subscription fees.
I have decided to include all BMW Owners for this drive because we are all part of the BMW family. Even though they are not official members, I believe the club is big enough to accomodate everyone in a monthly drive (50 places available) and I am sure all of you will welcome them with open arms:love:
There is a request from Mini owners to join this drive as well. So quickly sign up!!

Thanks for the heads up bro. I think at Second Link it should be alright, it will be chaotic at the Causeway.
It will be good if someone (xtracooljustin??) can bring back some of the immigration white card so we can pre-filled it. Singapore BMW Club? Well, we suppose to meet up with them at PML
