Zamri, don't forget to consider Dunlop Sports MAXX as well. Changed mine about a month ago, so far so good. Noise and handling very much improved from my previous tyres, Fulda Carat Extremo. Highly recommended by TireRack, ranked first or second on the list (this is about a month ago, not sure now).

I got mine in Kch, shop opposite Longhouse hotel, set of four cost me 2200, including balance, valve and Nitrogen. In Klang/KL probably a bit cheaper??

Forgot to mention, mine 235/45zr17.

I hv changed mine to DUNLOP SPort MAXX 235/45/17. It lasted only 4 days ... Sidewall too soft .. Floats when taking corners ...

Hv changed back to DUNLOP DIREZZA DZ 101 - perfect !!

Yeah I had similar problem with the Sportmaxx....body rolls like crazy!

Hankook RS2 rocks! Preceda is a great tire too!

It's time for me to change my Dragons which have served me well for the last 2 years plus. I've been very happy with the grip and comfort levels, it's real good bang for buck. There's a new Michelin workshop near my office and I'm tempted to try out the Precadas. What's your feedback on these tyres? I was offered RM520 per piece. Is this good value? Or should I stick with Dragons for RM100 less?
What tyre size are you referring to?

My tyre size is 225/45/17. I just checked with a tyre shop next to my office and they are willing to let me have Michelin Precadas PP2 for RM480 per piece after I haggled long and hard with them. They told me it's the latest version of Precada cos of the "PP2". Is this true? Is this a good price? The guy I spoke to says it's a lot quieter than my Pirelli Dragons tho I never thot there was a noise problem with the Dragons. Perhaps, I'm always self-drive and don't get to hear what's going at the back...

225/45 R17 Pilot Preceda 2 made in Thailand. RM480 is a damn good deal.
Can't comment on that tyre yet cos is new but Preceda 1st Generation is excellent.

Go For It :D

Thanks, bro. Can I have more feedback on the pricing? I saw the logo that it's Michelin Precada with a logo "PP2" and hope this is the new version. I'm bitching on this cos I'm contemplating going back to Pirelli Dragons which I can get for RM430 per piece.

The price is good. U get what u paid for..

The 2nd generation will have PP2 written on the sidewall...

I have not tried the Pirelli so I cannot comment on that but the feedback I got from my customers is that Pilot Preceda is the quietest in its class..
