Just to bump this thread. I am very keen about checking my tyres, always look at the treads and check the pressures every month. Recently my car was in the garage for some brake work, whilst it was on the ramp I had a chance to check the tyres properly, I was shocked to see that the rear tyres had worn down to the canvas on the very inside edge, this is not visible when the car is on the floor.
After checking on the internet it would appear that this is very common with BM's running wide tyres. If you are running wide tyres please get down on the floor, or better still, get the car on a ramp and carefully check your tyres, you may be shocked at what you find.

My tyre:-
normal makan dalam situation for our rides due to the setup, and perhaps tyre pressure. also the tyres needs to be rotated often. u on square setup bro? which tyre did u changed to bro?

Hey guys, just out of curiosity. For run flat tyres, need to fiil up air frequently like non-run flat?

Hi guys,
My F30 came with factory fitted Bridgestone Potenza RFT tyres. Its done only about 30,000 km @ 2 years and the tyres are already due for change. I am thinking of using normal tyres instead of RFT due to the huge cost difference and low life span for RFT. My regular tyre shop owner is advising against using normal tyres. He is telling that normal tyres will not give the best stability to BMW.

Any of you guys have experience in this RFT vs normal tyre thing for BMW?

Please suggest.
tq.
