Front passenger side power window switch was broken on 1 side after 9 years of usage and under the heat of the sun. Switch still functioning but decided to replace it anyway.
Bought new from BA for RM180. Hakitrade is selling a used one for RM120. Open price was RM150. Told him BA only selling for RM180 and he decided to go down slightly. After checking the condition, decided to get a new one from BA instead.

Did flywheel oil seal, ATF and engine oil change today. The only photo took is this as car was left with mech the whole day after attending AGM and racun session with Mr. VP

The original seal should last about 80-100k km. I noticed some oil leak between the engine and gearbox which the flywheel is located hence it pin-points to the flywheel oil seal. Engine bottom cover is required to be taken off in order to check.
Slight vibrations on steering wheel can be felt when doing high-speed braking. Brought the car to mech and upon checking, it was discovered that the front disc rotors have warped. The rotors were just replaced about 15k km ago. Lesson learnt that always only use original BMW rotors instead of OEM ones such as Febi or Brembo, despite they cost twice as much, as least they last much longer.
Old Febi Bilstein rotor
New original BMW rotors
New BMW rotors fitted
New rotors with wheels on
Old Febi when it was new last year. Notice the textured surface of the rotor
New rotors fit
ted, went for a test run and no more vibrations. Went home a happy man.
Great update bro :top: I'm wondering couldn't you just skim the brake disc instead of buying a new one? Am having the same problem too lol ... Despite skimming the disc the problem went away for awhile then it came back ... Maybe the mech didn't skimmed the disc enough?

Hi bro, the initial plan is to skim it but further checks revealed that the whole disc is sorta "bengkok". So no choice. But am surprised at the quality of these so-called German OEM rotors. Thought they would at least last slightly longer. Are you on OEM or original rotors?

It's on my E36 and the disc was already on the car. I think not enough skimming ... So i will give a try one more time if it happens again then what to do ... have to buy original.
Brembo makes OEM replacement ... Maybe they should have a better QC on the disc?

Yea bro. Prolly give it another try lah. Problem with Brembo is that nowadays they have plenty of grades and some claimed that those cheap ones are low quality. But I do know an E60 owner who changed to original BMW rotors twice but in the end switched to Brembo coz the original ones make this annoying squeaking sound everytime he brakes.
