I put up for sale sometime last year but pulled back as I was beginning to enjoy the car. I am now putting the car for sale again cause backside is now itchy for an M. Just bought the car early last year. In pursuit of perfection in ride and handling, I have changed practically every thing connected to the ride and handling department. No suspension creaks and car is tight in handling. The price is on a higher side but the car is in superb condition. - Bilstein B8- New H & R Springs.- Replaced lower arms (ori), control arm bush (ori), antiroll bar bush, link rod, rear trailing ball joint, arm bushes and mounting, rear cross member rubber mounting and all bushes.- New rear top mount reinforcement plate;- New absorber mounting;- new steering pump, power steering fluid and strainer;- Replaced power steering hoses;- Replaced steering rack;- Replaced camshaft and crankshaft sensors;- Replaced vent hose, expansion tank, water pump, radiator termostat, engine termostat, new radiator cap .- Replaced aircond belt, fan belt, - Good Year Assy 2 tires (90% thread wear left) and 17 inchrims rims- Replaced original brake disc and brake pads- replaced fuel pump assembly, new adjuster unit, V belt Tensioner, engine mounting, vent pipe,- Replaced long shaft coupling, steering coupling- Beisan Vanos seals, Valve cover gasket seals, vacuum hose, flush injectors- Steering coupling (brand new) and steering column (used) replaced.- Car is serviced regularly - Service records and original receipts available.Very particular in keeping the car in tip top condition and in the handling department. Have spent more than RM20k in parts replacement for the past one year.Asking price is RM73kIf interested, please call me at 6012 3839027. Not an urgent sale. As stated, reason for sale is have decided to go for the M! Disclosure: The car has a slight bump steer issue i.e has a very strong steering feedback when going through very bad roads. The bumpsteer is now hardly noticable after replacement of the control arm bush and the lower arm to the original arm and bush, the Power steering filter oil and pump.

Tx Herbert for the reminder. Year of Manufacture - 2001. Was made to understand that the car is CBU from Germany and imported by Auto bavaria.
 
bro u got any new photos? sorry for diverting the subject a bit, im thinking of changing mine to bilstein b8 w dunno what spring yet, just wanna see the drop with H&R, if you could, thanks.

somebody pls grab this car, it shud ride like brand spanking new with all those part replacement, don think any other car with that price tag can offer so much as compared to this one. bump for a great car..

Will take some new photos soon. Been busy. If u r in bangsar during working days, u r always welcome to view the car. Thr drop is lower than eibach but if eibach and B8 is sweet, then the handling of the car with B8 with H & R is sublime and superb!

thanks bro, was it your car i saw @ optimum, saw a black 330i with AC rims there this morning.
 
Yes bro...after posting the car for sale, had some suspension noise which irritates me. Send in for trouble shooting....and to change the oil filter housing...
 
Got my car back from Optimum. The suspension noise is due to the PU control arm bush! :( Loved the way the car handled and the increased braking efficiency with the PU control arm bush. However, never like creaking or squeeking sounds. So Optimum replaced the brand new PU Bush with meyle's control arm bush. No more noise.

Replaced the oil filter housing gasket and fan belt idle pulley. Costs

Oil filter housing gasket RM47
Fan belt idle pulley RM106
Control arm bush RM350

Labour RM130
Total (plus service tax) RM640.80

Forgot to add, when I first got the car, previous owner replaced the centre muffler with a locally made muffler. Sounded boomy and lost of mid end torque. Managed to secure a very good condition ori exhaust from the CAT right to the rear muffler at RM1100 from chop shop. Depending on the selling price, new owner can have extra CAT and rear muffler.
 
for that asking price on the 330 ...it's a steal and surely puts a lot of smile on the buyer/owner who appreciates the power ....hope it finds a new owner soon ...

I am selling my 2003 E46 M3 if you are interested. I have too many cars and my M3 just doesn't get driven much so I have very reluctantly decided to let it go.

BUMP!

Note: the bumpsteer issue has been reduced substantially since i replaced the lower arm and the control bush to the original arm and bush, costs me an arm and leg tho. lol
 
Just replaced the following items as noted some wear and tear :-

(i) front absorber mounting;
(ii) Absober link rod.

Also did the following:-
(iii) flushed and refill the power steering fluid;
(iv) replaced the PS fluid filter/strainer
 
How much did item 1 and 2 costs you bro? What are the signs of them failing?
 
hi wingzee,

For the front absorber mounting (Lemforder), it was RM280 per pair inclusive of labour. You can check for signs of wear and tear at the absorber mount itself when you opened up the bonnet. Sometimes you can see the rubber cracked. I know the mounting was gone cause after I changed my control arm bush, the car still tramlines (albeit a bit) upon braking.

For the absorber link rod (Lemforder), I was charged RM250 per pair inclusive of labour. I knew the RH side link rod was giving way cause whenever I go through bumps, there would be a slight thud sound coming from the RH side of the undercarriage.
 
Price reduced to RM73k. Just eplaced the power steering pump and fan belt.

p/s: found a unmolested M3 ..genuine mileage of 50k with service records. Everything seems good except the yellow color and the biege interior. Seller asking me to quote and now doing research on market price.
