A couple of updates.

Last Friday night, took the car out during the heavy downpour, then when the rain almost subsided, guess what happened?

My left wiper actually broke. As in the whole damn metal arm just broke! Not the wiper blade, but the arm itself!

Saw the huge crack on the wiper arm, and it broke cleanly, leaving the part where the arm is bolted to the engine bay intact... Wow. First time I actually encountered a case of wiper arms disintegrating. :p

Now currently driving with only the driver side functioning [thank goodness!], and am waiting for mechanic to source for replacement. Tried calling few places and chop shops for E32 left side wiper arm, but they're out of stock. Some even suggested using modified E34/36 arm... I think I only need the part which is screwed to the body itself. Bavarian Auto quoted RM400++ for the left side. Goodness!

Anyways, reached a milestone yesterday - 260,260 miles covered. Almost 419K kms.

Shouldn't cost that much. Ordered a wiper arm for my E34 from Bavarian Auto for RM130.00 only. Make sure you give them the part number for the arm itself.

Thanks maxx. Will try to research on it again:

Managed to find this diagram... Hmm, not too sure which part I really need until I see the arm again. But seems like I need to replace the whole arm

Haha. No worries. Even though given a fast car, will still take some time getting used to each car's characteristics. :top: So even if the next day someone were to allow me to drive an Aston Martin or a Lamborghini, fine, straight line will probably look easy, but when it comes to the corners, it's easy to weed out the ones who are not familiar with the car. Haha. I was like that the first time I drove up Genting in my E32.

Didn't know how to modulate the car and using the lower gears to climb the hills...

The 2nd time I went there, this time during the Awana Run with the other 7s like Badrul, Yazmeen and Gregcwho, it was a much more fantastic experience. True, I was still 'slow' going up, but I felt much more confident about my car's abilities. :)

Couple of shots of the broken wiper arm.

As you can clearly see, the whole arm just cracked and broke...

Anyways, spent yesterday evening cleaning the rims after the heavy downpour the night before...
