Eggie, you MUST go watch "Safe House", starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds...

Thanks bro! Haha, got E32 being used in the car chase huh? Will definitely go watch! :top:

Yes, RHD e32. Movie was shot in South Africa... love the car chase scene but hate seeing the e32 being banged up.

Haha. Ah well. At least the car still had it's 15mins of fame during the movie. Good to know that they selected it for that particular scene too. Is it out in the cinemas already?

Lack of updates, just the usual weekly routine of washing my ride:

Finally finished the Turtlewax Tyre Foam. To be frank, not really a big fan of foam spray. Always preferred the results given by tyre gels such as Meguiar's Endurance Gloss.

Came home from work. A lil' dirty...

Rims need a wash. Just washed it this evening but didn't snap pics cos it was dark.

BMWs seem to be the flavor of the month in Hollywood nowadays - Mission Impossible 4 had so many Bimmers, I thought it was like an extended ad! Now, Safe House as well!?

Haha exactly! MI:4 with the X5, F12, and the Vision Dynamics concept... Like you said, seems like an extended BMW commercial.

Can't wait to catch Safe House. The car chase scene might not be as good as Ronin/Transporter series, but heck, any chance to catch the E32 in action is a must!

Had a rare day off yesterday due to offsite company event, so itchy me spent the morning doing something to the family's E36:

Bought this from Bangkok. Was hoping that someone here could do the same too. :top:

Bro, stick on side mirror better i think.

Agreed bro. Usually prefer to stick stickers on either the front/rear windscreen or side windows... Hahaha.

Wanna share an interesting tale:

Earlier tonight, took the car out to refill petrol and pump some tyre air. Then as soon as I got down and wanted to start on the first tyre, this nice chap rode over on his motorycle and said nice ride. At first I thought he wanted to use the pump as well, but he only wanted to chat. He told me he once owned an E32 too, gold colour, and ex-Pahang royalty car too. He even told me the plate number was BBB 7301... His model was a 730iL.

Wow, first time actually managed to strike up conversation with a fellow E32 enthusiast on the roads. The fact that he made a detour all the way to the petrol station to strike up a chat with me and comment on my ride, sure feels good! :adore:

The guy even added that he misses his E32 and said it's a solid ride. He even whispered to me, sure beats the hell out of driving a Waja anyday! Hahaha. Awesome man. Before he left, he even asked me whether those were Alpina rims.

What a night.

Bro, you'd be surprised how enthusiasts would strike up conversations with each other, over the tiniest detail! But, that's a great story - and goes to show that your great car can attract attention, even at night & while pumping your tyres! Way to go bro! hehehe

Haah, probably helped that I spent the best part of an hour + ystdy evening after it rained to give her a thorough wash, especially those dirty rims. Topped it off with a layer of shiny Meguiar's Endurance Tyre Gloss for that bling bling effect. Probably those rims captured the guy's attention.
