Went back to Optimum earlier this afternoon cos the foglamps went kaput again last weekend, so it definitely had to be wiring problem. Managed to get the same chap who worked on my car last Saturday to help out again today, and he was really kind enough to work on my car and sort out the problem.

As you can see, both foglamps aren't working...

The faulty part in question - holder with some wirings attached. The guy told me the wirings were already frayed and something to do with earth wire accidentally touching the other wire, thus causing it to malfunction.

Couldn't resist taking some vanity shots whilst waiting for the car to be ready.

Glad you got it sorted out bro. The seven is prowling the streets again... :)

BTW, that blue E38 has been there for ages....

Yup, had seen that 740iL there for quite some time already. Haha.

Thanks for the nice words Andrew.

Another month or so before I can finally send her for detailing, and really gonna get those Alpina stripes on!

Been having problems for the past weekend logging onto the forums.

Seems like my proxy might have issue?

Keep getting error that Litespeed server is down or something... Thought whole forums was down but it only seems to affect when I click New Posts...

Its been like that for nearly a week now eggie, not only you. Still waiting for Tom to fix the problem.

Ahh no wonder! Thought my laptop was having problems whenever I clicked New Posts. Tried it on both Google Chrome and IE and same problem persisted.

Fingers crossed will have remedy soon then! :top:

Some updates:

I know I've been quiet from the forums, but have been tied up with work prior to the CNY week, and was away all week abroad.

Took these shots prior to CNY, and apparently working in Cyberjaya has rendered my car pretty much dirty every single day, without fail, and it gets worst each time it rains.

It's like having camouflage on the bodywork. :24:

Can't wait to get the car detailed though and putting those stripes on.

Was abroad in the Land of Smiles last week, and snapped a few shots here and there:

Cousin's E46 323i, previously had AC Schnitzer rims on, hence the body stripes.

Came back and took my car for a much needed drive down south via LEKAS, and it was a pleasant journey, getting the engine up to mark again, didn't really push her that hard untill I reached the uphill section before the Temiang toll and exit, where I engaged sport mode and revelled as the engine roared and speeds climbed all the way to 190km/hr on that uphill portion.

Actually had made a trip back from Seremban before CNY, and had a brief run-in with an E92 320i coupe on ELITE, and was amazed that the old E32 was able to pull away effortlessly even as the E92 was trying to catch up with me. Admittedly I was whacking the car all the way home and must've irritated some slower road hogs on the right lane as I kept overtaking from the left.

haha, u are finally back in the forum..well, 190kph is just a breeze for an e32..even my jft surrenders now..hehe

Thanks for the compliments bro. Haha, depends on mood bro. Sometimes will drive sedately, depending on road conditions and traffic. But so far the only roads I can really whack the car to the most of my kahunas is on LEKAS and ELITE Highway...

Too bad loads of lane hoggers on ELITE, lost count already how many times had to engage 'S' mode to overtake Wajas and Personas on the left... I know it's impolite but I still signal before I perform any overtaking maneuvers. Still feel delighted that the old girl has still some horses left to put a small smile on my face each time I am behind the wheel.

Drive safe Eggie...don't trust other drivers too much. I learned the hard way.

Yeah, it really depends on the traffic condition. it is good to know that yr Kahuna can really perform despite her age.....

Haha, Ice bro, cannot compare la... I still have jitters tackling roads like the Awana run. I am only confident on speeding on fairly straight and not so curvy routes. :24:

But I noticed am being more alert of tackling certain corners at speed compared to previously. Of course, cannot compete with the gung-ho 7s with their modded suspension and anti roll bars. Hahaha..

LOL, good one Andrew. We shall see! Mental HP added by those stripes should prove to be an interesting experiment to keep an eye on. :top:

Haha, Kahuna = balls bro...

I don't have balls of steel sadly.

I've lost count how many times I had that odd sensation of stomach feeling queasy and darn uncomfortable after previous run-ins and high speed cornering with certain cars. So lesson learnt, don't bother playing or chasing speeding cars unless you're really confident. Hahaha...

Still cannot forget the look on the face of this B8 Audi A4 owner when I literally outsprinted him in the old Jaguar XJ40 after coming out from Smart tag side by side at Damansara two years back though. :p

kahkah.. dont actually know what that is:embarassed:........never mind, it's yr confidence that counts. I often follow what my heart tells me..The truth is, i dont have that kind of balls as well.kekeke
