Haha ...bro iM, I'm not skilled enough for those stunts yet....hopefully in the making :) Thanks for sharing

Manual conversion and overhaul completed...Having heaps of fun and its an all new experience with my roundel altogether. Now I understand why a stick is a must for bimmers...Bringing out the real potential of your machine ! However, still experiencing some teething problems on transmission fluid, gaiter misaligned, slight grind/growl, etc. After the overhaul, dare not over rev it until I clock some mileage running in. Need to break in the vanos seal as well. Torsen LSD is simply awesome, doing serious lipats even on 195/65R15 :p Hope to sort out the tiny issues and I'm a happy man !

P/S: Special thanks to ICEMAN13, ramsing & pussy for their valuable source of parts and information. BMWCM Citizens for much inspiration & valuable information this forum has to offer. Last but not least, my trusty tech Albert & team of WP Auto for their patience/work on my meticulous requirements and facilitating countless time on a spare transport & even chauffeuring me to cyberjaya for work :) I have not even seen the bill or paid a cent yet !

sure thing bro...but the 195 tyres a bit scary...hahaha..

Welcome to the manual side... you love it when you run 200km/h ++, and hate it when it's in a very bad jam...

but, since you work in Cyberjaya, can have some fast ones...tomorrow TT, i will be there, will see you then.

After reading some precious info and advise from the gurus... am waiting for the kucing to come back to me on some calculations :) My findings:
- Both m20 single mass and m50 double mass has the same diameter 228mm
- Both M52 328i and M3 has 240mm on the flywheel.
- Stock dual mass flywheel = ~11 KG (just the flywheel)
- M20 flywheel (single mass) = ~7 KG (just the flywheel)
- m20 clutch kits are cheaper compared to M50 kits (pressure plate, clutch etc)
- M20 starter motor (the M50 starter will not mesh with an M20 flywheel)
- E21 323i release bearing (30mm height)
- M20 flywheel bolts as the M50 items are too long (new pressure plate bolts too)
- M20 flywheel machined to fit the M52. This involves removing a minimum of 4mm up to 10mm
- Single mass gear rattle at idle. This was probably my biggest concern about it but the perks are more fun to have :)
