buy your squeak?? no thanks. Mine's quieter... hahahah

The E34 is a good buy. There are a few baby seats that you can take a look that doesn't sacrifice space that much if you put it in the middle. Bassinets are even smaller.

I have a Fairland bassinet and a Graco baby seat in my E36 when I travel with my maid in the side seats. No problem.
Hah, you have yet to seat in my car. I have pretty eliminated all the squeeks from my car.

Lucky you, only baby and maid in the back seat.

As for me, I might have my baby and my parents in the back seat....

are the M50s that much btr with FC?..are they quieter compared to the non-24Vs? :D

From my experience of test driving the 12V and 24V, the 24V are better in terms of power and smoothness. Offshoot of the better power, the FC could be better too. Therefore, the 24V is the better buy. :D

Yup, the search still goes on and on. Sigh, getting fed-up already. Might have to settle for a 12V already. Got a pristine example which I like (only need to do up the seats) but then I still need to get rid of my babe.... darn. :(

BUy first before it is gone.... then you'll have another headache locating one more (heheheheheh) :nyehehe:

I've recently seen a few late model e34's ie. 1995 and the common cosmetic fault I noticed is that the door panel plastic near the door lock pin, has peeled back. Probably from the heat & age.

Someone told me that the last batch of e34 (1996) has solid molded piece door panels like in the e36, so will not have the peeled plastic problem. Is this correct ? Sifu Bundy ?

Yup...koryong! When are you getting yours?? Alternatively, you can take a drive down to Singapore and swap it. I think they do have a complete set of seats + door panels  :)

Hi AL, I have seen many E34s specimens in which the cloth trim by the door pillars are coming loose. Is it the same thing mentioned by koryong? Would it be an easy fix to repair the unsightly trim? :dunno:

Thanks bro. I have plenty of DIY coming my way, both house and car. :beaten:

flash,
hahah sorry this is severely out of topic.

I agree with you. You'll be doing a lot of DIY soon. Including on and for yourself. Hahahhaha.. *cabut*

Flash ...

Good luck in locating a nice E34. After all these years, it's still a heck of a car. There are times when I wished I had gone for an E34 instead ....

Affan ... yes - SEVERELY off-topic. But it's okay la ... quite sure you can relate to his predicament ! Ahahahahaha !!!
