Typical accountant talk.....try and put a value on the ""fun"" factor :nyehehe: . I think the best car/vehicle for you is the new Kia Carens now called Naza (?). Less than 80k and can seat 7 ppl! :p :p :D Road tax also cheap cheap....less than RM400 a year!
hey! Ayam also an accountant......but the 3.0 V8 is a useless engine :

M60B30 2977 218bhp@5,800rpm, 290Nm@4500rpm

It's only 26bhp and 45Nm more than the Vanos M50B25, compared to more than double the road tax!

If the rpm can be increased to 8,000.....that's a different story........

haiyoo....!!!! dun think...!!!! buy..!!!

come lar scared ah!!!!!

What to do, once an accountant, always an accountant. Come to think of it, a 520i 24V manual would have better fun factor than the Citra. Better prestige too. :p :p :D

Hai ya, when will you be in the KK / BR area? Can go TT lor.... Everytime come to KK / BR but never call one. :getyourfactsright:

My view is this...

E36 vs E34...that was my choice when I wanted to change. Family of 4 + maid.

E36 was kinda small for a 2.0L (was thinking since I am getting a Bimmer....nothing but 6 cylinder will do)....the car dimension over the E34 maybe little...but the interior space is hugh for the 5 series.

Not saying that 3 series cannot make the cut as a family car....just that the E34 makes a better choice as there is more space.

Given a choice....if fun factor and driveability is the only consideration (minus taxes...running cost etc) E34 2.5L has to be it. 2.0L on the E34 is IMHO....underpowered. 2.5L suits the body weight of the car. Petrol cost ain't gonna be much diff....I dun think it will be more than 1 tankful diff every month between the 2.0 & 2.5.

giabok...??? I got three wor..!!
If I can remember correctly, you eat giabok sup and fried engines for lunch and dinner. Ur, what was your last count? :D :D

Anyway, for the next few days / weeks (hopefully not), I will be "sampling" some cars and then I will make my final decision. But then I still have to get rid of my Babe. Hi squeek, squeek... your cheese is here.

wat is giabok?

aiya...get one 89/90 520i...cheap cheap...then convert 3.5.....muahahahahaha

Hey flash, your 325 belum pegin modify sudah wanna sell ah? You didn't even fulfill your wishes lah....mana boleh??? Hahahaha....but I understand what you mean with that baby seat in the centre, those who sit beside it either has to be ultra thin or they have flexi shoulder blades....hahaha..... :p

you're the 2nd fella that i know who's getting rid of his e36 for an e34. got a friend here that has done it to, but the e36 was his wifes car..so he's got her an e34 M5 as a replacement! hahah...

What to do... family needs dictates my need to change the car to something bigger. At the same time, if I can find a cheaper but good E34, it can help loosen up some moolahs for mods.... Mua ha ha ha ha ha. :D

Me got ideas alreadi. Now to get the car!

buy your squeak?? no thanks. Mine's quieter... hahahah

The E34 is a good buy. There are a few baby seats that you can take a look that doesn't sacrifice space that much if you put it in the middle. Bassinets are even smaller.

I have a Fairland bassinet and a Graco baby seat in my E36 when I travel with my maid in the side seats. No problem.
