Mod Potential Of E34 520i 24V

Just thinking... need feedback from E34 sifus out there. What are the engine mod potential for the M50B20 (non-vanos) of the E34 520i? Car is CBU and comes with 5sp ZF gearbox (5HP18). Supercharging? Enlarge to 2.5L? How to, parts needed and estimated cost.

transfer your M50b25 when you buy the car for the most effective n bang for you buck when it comes to power...
ppl talk about supercharger etc etc..but really, how many here have installed one? when they hear the cost of it, they'll just go blur!

All depend of M power.....easy way is upgrade to b25 but quite hard to get just the block.....n not cheap.... :getyourfactsright: Wow now go for M50? How my mech car?

fastest bang for the buck is change the rear differential to a shorter gear

all depends on what you really want in your quest for power

there are still some possibilities to maintain the block without changing or increasing engine capacity

a few to note
1. engine re-mapping, chip/piggy back system
2. airflow- larger MAF,big bore throttle body
3. high flow injectors
4.adjustable fuel rate - need to override DME if to put this on
5. unrestricted exhaust or better flow design

Hi Lionel, still having difficulty in selling off my babe. Some called, some came, some saw, some say wanted but in the end cannot get finance. :beaten: Really pengsan.

Hmmmmm, if you don't like your mods, then how come you have an MAF and SMT6 in your car???? :dunno:
