eh...? i tot you wanted an E36? now you're asking about E46? earlier you said your budget is $40-60K. with this budget , it is not possible to purc an E46. you will need to budget 80K-100K++ to get an E46...(depends on the model)

please do some research on your own and then only ask final decision questions like your life depended on it .ie. cannot sleep, cannot eat....rather than giving the guys here the big runaround....

Motor Trader magazine are good references. you can always checkout the prices in the magazine shop without buying the whole mag...

and the list goes on...but last i checked its in reference to the 5 series model that is going for 68K plus its a 1999 year car and you will need to think about the maintenance. same principle applies for any car of 10 years and older...

please check details again if you're looking for E46 model.

my range off current price for E46 may be off abit but its not very far from the current market price. you may try to nego lower with the seller (discount 3K to 5K) depending on your negotiation skills and how desparate the seller is to sell his car but at the end of the day its the same usual thing..buy cheap, pay more for repairs. pay slightly higher, you will spend less time in the workshops. of course, there are some good deals where you pay low and don't have to spend a single cent later on but these cases are rare and you will have to depend a lot on your good fortune.

happy hunting bro. don't believe all your read in the ads. all cars are accident free but i sometimes wonder. also, get a good BMW mechanic to inspect the car just to be on the safe side. you don't want to buy a 'problematic' car at the end of the day.

well it all depends on how good your reputation is after all and how good a paymaster are u.. but for me...just a little advise to u... GO FOR THE 325 or 328 ! ...power is around the same...because of the 6 in line cyclinders BMW is famous for!! You have the budget...go for the better 1!

If you like MODDING , go for E36. get 1 around 40K and mod it.
If not, wait for some E46 in the range of RM 60k+ .

i have e36 325i (A)1994 model. standard spec. rim 15, 205/60R H 1/2 tread tyre.lebih kurang 14 yrs laaaa. second owner. never lenjan b4 but i've tried 250km/hrs. going to sell if someone interested. if there is no buyer. will use that car forever sampai tanggal screw la. n way there is no problem ecounter as all major part has been changed...
