Hi there guys...Been searching the forum for any review for this detailing shop named Lucky. Its opposite Stuttgart in Taman Mayang. Anybody tried them before for leather upholstery? While i'm on it, is there any place that can repaint/redye the doorcard and the dashboard?...was thinking of doing it but not that sure about their shop..Anybody?.. help?

And one more thing...

I went to Sapura Auto last week...Saw the BMW Individual....

What catches my eyes is the choice of colour for the leather that they have...and i must say that the Red Brown interior is so uber cool.

did BMW install the leather locally?...if it is, anybody knows where i can get the Dakota leather in Red Brown colour?

Lucky leather has been in the interior detailing industry for a very long time... they did my dad's Jag a long long time ago and reupholstered the whole car with the original Conolly leather... overall from what i can say, they do a very good job but it comes with quite a hefty price... you occasionally see Ferraris, Porsches and other high end marques there... good luck... just my 2 cents...

Got my interior re upholstery with standard Italian honey brown leather and re dye my doorcard and seats from gray to black. Cost me more than 5k. Will I do it all over again? Probably not. What other alternative do I have? DIY http://www.leatherique.com/ They have a distributor in Malaysia http://www.leatherique-asia.com/

Aiseh bro I am now thinking of touching up the interior la. So many things need to be done but not enough time. Currently I am getting the SEC done and my mechanic told me that the 30 is ready for paint. I am going to settle the SEC and 30 first before continuing on the 36.

hmmm...

now that get me thinking...

but tried to call leatherique but no response...

are they still in business?

They are no longer in business in a sense that they don't have a premises. Couple of months ago, I managed to contact them and bought a set of leather cleaner.

Lucky do ok work for interior refurbishment but am not impressed with their exterior detailing work. Have personally seen their female Indon workers washing customers' cars using a mop! Enuf said!

Their charges can be quite scary too...........

I think that only happens in Thailand, bro. If only it did, we would be having our TT and getting our UDM's detailed at the same time and same place
